oh man that was mean of your dad but it was a good one!

I got out of the shower this morning to go finish getting ready for school and walk out of the bathroom and my dad goes "Kristen your back tire is either flat or it needs air. I need my car today because I have a Drs. appt so idk how you're gonna get to school." So i'm all mad, cursing and what not. A few mins later i go to look out the window and dont see a flat tire. He starts laughing and is like "april fools!!" I was so mad because I thought i was going to have to rush to the gas station and figure out how to use one of those air machines before i could get to school! Dad's are pains!!

i REALLY need to get over to your TR and get reading! i've been so busy lately too.

No you don't, I haven't started it yet My dear mother is holding all my pictures hostage (stupid me forgot the camera's big memory card, and had to clean off the tiny one every day by saving the pictures to her laptop). I just can't bring myself to write a TR with no pictures!

Speaking of pictures, I really want to see one of your dad's awesome lamp!

i made that mexican thing the other night, but used ground turkey and beef mixture that i made into taco meat but the rest of the dish was the same..it was very good, and nice and spicy, i added a bunch of chili powder and cayenne pepperthanks for the idea.

I am really far behind. I just got caught up and still no baby. I am sure that they will be just fine. We had Macey when we were twenty. Young huh? We are 23 now and I don't know what we did without her. My fiances name is Mike and we were together all through high school. We broke up a few times but we are still together (hintur disneymoon in August). Hopefully they can see past the problems and just be great parent to a precious baby.

Sorry to get all personal. I love all your pics with scrooge. All the characters are so animated.

I just bought Twilght. I started reading it At 11:00 Monday night and finished at 6:30 in the morning. Mike thinks I am crazy. I loved it. I just stated the second one. I am afraid to watch the movie I want to like it but I always like the books better.

While everyone is sharing their April Fool's jokes, I thought I'd share mine. This was a long time ago, I was 10 or so and sis was 6 or so..we were in our condo at Myrtle Beach, SC getting reading in the morning. Dad was in the living room watching the weather and mom, sis, and I were sitting in mom and dad's room watching the squirrel on our balcony. He had been on our balcony every morning so far! We decided to play a joke on dad and yelled "OMG dad! The squirrel is in the room! Dad! Come get it out! Dad!" We jumped on the bed and he comes running and as soon as he saw the sliding glass door was closed, we yelled "APRIL FOOLS!" Yes, we're angels.

for those of you who liked the movie, i'm sorry but i strongly disagree. i think the screenwriter just butchered the book. you have the right to your opinion and i respect that - i just disagree! i think the reason i feel so strongly about it is that i loved the book so much and it's like someone took something i love and just chopped it to pieces and tried to hand it back to me on a silver platter. i don't think so!

talked to jordan this morning and her contractions are getting more intense. she said she only got 3 hours of sleep last night because they kept waking her up. i guess that means it's getting closer! i hope so - later this week would be perfect for me! i just hope margot can wait until like thursday or friday. my brother CANNOT have a baby that was born on april fool's day - the irony would be overwhelming.

sorry i've been MIA! i've been trying to enjoy the last couple of days of nice weather we've had because it's supposed to be down in the 30's again by monday night. we worked in the yard all day yesterday - it was so nice out! and the neighborhood had a easter egg hunt yesterday afternoon that i will share some pictures of later. i'm waiting on anna to send me hers. i got some great video of luke doing the robot that is sooooo funny!

no news on the baby front. jordan called me on thursday and said she had just went for her weekly doctor's appointment. they said she's progressing but nothing to "do" at this point but wait. her doctor recommended some raspberry tea to help alleviate the "fake" labor pains and she said that had helped, that the pain was still there but not as sharp and uncomfortable. i really hope she can hold out until at least thursday. i am covering for another court reporter who is out of town this week and it may be difficult for someone to cover for me until then. thursday there's a full moon so i'm crossing my fingers that that may help. i certainly hope the baby doesn't decide to wait until the NEXT weekend (the weekend of 4/17) to come because that's the weekend ray and i are supposed to go to the cabin!

as far as the TR goes, the next update includes videos and i just flat out haven't had time to do them. they always take much longer to upload. i will try my best to get it done soon though!

Eww...yeah, if he reminded me of a brother, that might be a little weird.
And, I agree...the whole spider monkey thing and the meadow scene especially were so wrong! I'm hoping the next one will be better!

he actually looks better as edward than he does in real life. i don't think they could've gotten anyone to play edward as i have him pictured in my mind.

I will. My crew likes different levels of spicy stuff in their Mexican food, so I could make this mild and put salsa on the side. Drew is the one that likes the most heat in his foods, and the rest of us are mild to moderate.

I have only ever seen one other piano guy there, and it seemed weird to see someone else in this guy's place. Some day I need to stop and talk to him and find out his story, since I've seen him and listened to him play so many times. Maybe this summer I'll get a chance to 'interview' him for the trip report!

i finally got some video uploaded so i figured i could do a quick update. no baby news yet - keep your fingers crossed for this weekend! she's due on sunday so i hope she is here by her due date. if not, we will have to see what happens. ray and i are scheduled to go to the cabin i told you guys about on the 17th so i hope we don't have to reschedule.

so when i last left you we were waiting for mickey's twas the night before christmas to start. i had heard this show was really good and i was excited to see it. please excuse the glare in some of these photos. the show was at high noon so the sun was BEAMING down on us and there's a glare in some of them. first i will post the pictures and then the videos.

the curtain opened to singers and dancers dressed in red and green and singing "we need a little christmas."

you know, i have to say that i'm always so impressed with the entertainment CMs at disney. they are so talented! i could watch people sing and especially dance for hours and never get bored!

then mickey appeared with this big "twas the night before christmas" book and dressed in his PJs!

minnie was dressed for bed too. here they are walking hand in hand.

i know cammie mentioned this in her report awhile back but i just have to mention it, too. don't you find it so scandalous that mickey and minnie share a bed in this show?????

then they dreamed of sugar plum fairies......and hippos!

time to dance!

then the music picked up and some friends joined in the fun!

i love pluto in this one!

then it was time for the toy soldiers....

along with some furry, silly toy soldiers.....
