A WISH for Cold Tea? Ana's aMAWzing Disney Trip! 12/1-12/7 ~Last Entry~ p.127

We don't get too many family shots since I am the one who is usually behind the camera. I like that picture too!

I think you & Mark would enjoy yourselves at CM. You just might miss your puffed french toast from CP though. :confused3 ;)

Oh, if we decide to go back to CM's after a ten year absence, believe me that it will be IN ADDITION to Crystal Palace because I NEVER give up CP for anything. ;)

Juliana is turning into quite the photographer. :)

Loved the update, Tim! CM's is one of our favorite breakfast spots. A MUST-DO on every trip for us.

Love the shirts!

Awesome family pic with the plate.

And great character pics!

Looking forward to hearing more!!

Caught up again! Sounds like your trip has been good so far! I love all the photos from Chef Mickey! It is my second favorite character breakfast. 1900 Park Fare was the best!

I did decide to write a TR, waiting for my Photopass cd first, and I need my friend to post her pictures on facebook so I can steal them, I am thinking of calling it, Frostbite and a broken foot, a Christmas Time TR! Went to the doctors and I have a stress fracture :(

Hi there!! Glad I saw your TR today!! I'm all caught up, what a great trip so far!! GKTW looks lovely, what a fun place for kids!!

Make sure you use thinner (the green one) on the left side of the big rock up towards the ceiling. You have to make the floor disappear under the rock so the rock falls out of your way.

I hope this makes sense. :goodvibes

Hmm.. This does make sense or at least I know what you're referring to! :rotfl: Now to put it to use and see if we can make it happen! I'll tell my DS that we have a plan now! :)

Thanks and I'll keep you posted!
Heather

Okay, I missed seeing it before....but I saw the autograph book I made....hope it got filled up!!! who was the first to sign it???
Juliana filled up the book! We used it at CMs then she saved the other pages for all of her princess friends. princess:

We just have to print out the pictures to put in it. :goodvibes

LOL I didn't think you'd miss CP! :lmao::lmao:

She is doing great taking pictures. We really might have to get her her own digital camera. :goodvibes

We had such a fun and tasty meal at CM. We will be eating breakfast there again.

Thank you x3! :rotfl2:

There will be more coming... hopefully very soon! :surfweb:

Glad you had fun at 1900PF. We have always had great meals there!

Oh man... I can't believe you really broke your foot. :sad2:

Let me know when you start! :surfweb:

I hope it worked out for ya! ::MickeyMo

I am so glad!! hope there was enough room for all her friends to sign!!

LOL I'm sure you all could see that happening.

WOW. You dropped CRT for CMs? You know that you have made someone else VERY VERY happy. Those Mickey waffles are just soooooooo guuuuuuud!

I am a smidge under 6'2''. I could probably play Goofy if I ever needed a job working in Disney.

Juliana is very good with pictures. We might have to buy her a real digital camera. She has already outgrown her Fisher Price camera.

I don't even care anymore (taking pics of my food). But home come I never see anyone else doing it? I mean there HAS to be other DISers around when we eat. :confused3:confused3

Seriously, if my DD7 saw that park right across the street, I'd have a horrible time trying to pry her away! She'd probably try to sleep there if I let her. Parks are her favorite thing to do, she'll request it for her birthday even!

I know, I know, I actually dropped CRT for CM! I must be insane, especially with 3 girls! But while they loved CRT, I think *I* loved it more than them. They like the princesses, don't get me wrong, but apparently they'd rather eat with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Goofy.

Well, if you move to Disney and play Goofy, how are going to work at the Pirate's League? How will you be able to wear your turquoise pinky ring?? You know that ring isn't going to fit on Goofy's hand!

You should buy Juliana a digital camera:thumbsup2! My DD9 just bought one with her Christmas money from Target and it was only about $25 I think. She loves it and has taken about a million pics with it.:goodvibes

I hear ya on the taking pics of your food. I don't ever see anyone else doing it either, why is that? You know people must be because there's that thread over on the restaurant board just for pics of Disney food!

Our last trip we took to Disney my in-laws came with us. They kept asking me why I was taking pics of our food or the buffet and I told them it was for business! That could be true technically since I'm sure I spend enough time on here to qualify as work!:thumbsup2

We had just finished up eating breakfast at Chef Mickey's and were driving over to park in the Magic Kingdom parking lot to take the monorail over to Epcot. We pulled into our parking spot and loaded up all of our bags on the stroller and walked over to the tram. It was interesting to see the 'new' trams with the doors.

DSC00466.jpg

I can understand why they added the doors but when you are trying to get on with 3 bags and a stroller it makes the process a little harder. LOL

We were waiting for the monorail and I was secretly hoping to ride on the TRON-a-rail but my wish didn't come true. Don't feel too bad though, our monorail ride was great......

DSC00468.jpg

OK.. maybe not that great but Juliana was enjoying our first ride of the trip. (This is one of my favorite pics of the trip)

DSC00467.jpg

We could feel the anticipation building and before we knew it we were riding over the park. I just love how you get a little tour before actually stepping foot in the park.

We were going through the bag check and the security guard noticed the chocolate drizzled Mickey popcorn that was in our new Mickey bag. He got the attention of the security guy next to him and asked him if we were allowed to enter Epoct with the popcorn...... without giving any to them! We thought they were really funny.

We stopped for a photopass picture in front of what Juliana calls 'The big ball'.(photopass CD still isn't here yet..)

DSC00474.jpg

It was already 11:20 and we had limited time in Epcot. We didn't really have a plan so what would we do first? Find a bathroom. This was the first of many bathroom trips for Juliana. I think she used every bathroom in Epcot in the few short hours we were there.

We asked Juliana what she wanted to do first and her ride of choice was Soarin'. Off to The Land we went. With the GAC and the GKTW button, we didn't need any faspasses. Using our pass, we were able to get in the FP line.

DSC00475.jpg

After a short wait we were Soarin' over California and looking for the few hidden Mickey's like- the Mickey balloon, the one on the golf ball, and the fireworks over Disneyland.

DSC00476.jpg

Juliana loved the ride and since we were still in the land we were going to take a boat ride on this:

DSC00477.jpg

I didn't take too many pictures but we did like this Rosemary Christmas tree!

DSC00478.jpg

Gotta love Mickey veggies!

DSC00480.jpg

We were heading back outside and I couldn't help but notice a few people eating at Sunshine Seasons with huge strawberry shortcakes. They looked soooo good but I couldn't even think about eating anything. I was still stuffed from breakfast. It didn't seem like we were going to make our 12:55 ADR at Rose & Crown.... we were just too full.

Next it was time to pay Nemo a visit....

DSC00482.jpg

We had to goto the ocean to find him....

DSC00483.jpg

After finding Nemo, Bruce found Juliana!!

DSC00487.jpg

There was a CM talking about sharks and Juliana found it interesting. It is amazing how many teeth a shark can go through in its lifetime. Man, those teeth are sharp!

DSC00489.jpg

We were walking through the giftshop and something caught Juliana's eye... it was a Squirt! Now if you remember, Juliana received a few gift cards from the Big Give and this was her first purchase. I don't think she let him go the whole time we were in Epcot.

After finding our stroller- yes we brought a stroller- we were going to head to Test Track but stopped to watch these guys play the drums...errrrr garbage cans, for a few minutes.

DSC00490.jpg

We thought about stopping in the Character Spot but as we walked by, we saw that it was the same characters that we saw at breakfast. We didn't feel like we needed to see then all again but I did notice Cub Cool. We have never tried the different sodas from around the world before. What better time than now? (This is a rhetorical question)

We walked in and saw the soda machines. I tried a few which really weren't bad at all. Actually some tasted pretty good. I even snuck a little sip of the mother of all sodas: The Beverly! Before I tricked... I mean.. suggested to my wonderful wife to try the Beverly, I had to know for myself how bad it really was. It was bad but not horrible. Melody might of begged to differ.

DSC00492.jpg

I was laughing at her and from what I remember, she wasn't too happy with me making her try it. We tried to get Juliana to try some of the different sodas but she kept saying 'No daddy, soda isn't good for you.' She has never tasted soda yet. She refuses and that's not a bad thing.

As we were walking out of Club Cool, Juliana let us know that she has to use the bathroom.....great. We were close to the Wish lounge which is located inside Spaceship Earth at Base21.... what better time than now to go check it out. Base21 is a lounge and meeting area for Siemens employees. It has its own entrance and you need a special pin number to get in...

DSC00493.jpg

We signed in and the greeter asked Juliana what her favorite color was. She answered 'Pink!' and with a touch of a button, she turned the floor to pink. Juliana stood in amazement, then had to go check it out.

DSC00495.jpg

Juliana went back and told the greeter a bunch of other colors. Each time the floor changed to that color... very cool! There was also a touch screen that had all different kids of information about Siemens and some new technology they are currently working on. You are able to access a database and see who has been at Base21. I tried to upload our picture, but the card reader wasn't working. Oh well.

DSC00501.jpg

There was also a magic mirror that you stand in front of and you are transformed into funny characters like this:

DSC00499.jpg

Or this:

DSC00500.jpg

There is a huge meeting room with windows that look over Epcot, soda and coffee machines, a few other Siemen exhibits, and the cleanest bathrooms in all of Epcot (from what we heard).

Base21 even has a private entrance to Spaceship Earth. The greeter asked us if we had rode SE yet then showed us how to get to the ride. Just go through this door, past the 2 posers, onto the ride. (Another of Juliana's purchases... shiny Mickey Ears!)

Up next... more Epcot, more bathrooms, World Showcase?

Hey, you have to do what will make them the happiest! The crazy thing is that is won't cost you much less to eat at CM.

Well, if you move to Disney and play Goofy, how are going to work at the Pirate's League? How will you be able to wear your turquoise pinky ring?? You know that ring isn't going to fit on Goofy's hand!
LOL You mean this ring??????

I'm thinking about it... I think i'd have to find a cheap one like your DDs. I can't seeing spending too much money on one that will probably end up broken.

I hear ya on the taking pics of your food. I don't ever see anyone else doing it either, why is that? You know people must be because there's that thread over on the restaurant board just for pics of Disney food!
I donno... I NEVER see anyone else doing it. Do you?

I hear ya.... too bad we couldn't be getting paid to be on here! :lmao:

Marv was there ??:confused3:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
HAHA!!! GOOD ONE ROSIE!!!!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I'm Waiting !!!!!!:surfweb::lmao:
Your wait is over!! :goodvibes

Hey that Rosemary Christmas Tree is VERY cool!! I saw it too, but it is WAY better with garlands on it!

Base 21 is pretty nifty- not nearly as nifty as Club 33, but still pretty cool. A private entrance to a ride is a VERY nice way to enter one.

Great face on Mel! :lmao: I can never get enough of funny "trying Beverly" pictures.

I'd say, you're not going to be so up to wanting to eat a big meal at R&C in 2 hours. :confused3

I think i even see a hidden Mickey ornament on it! :goodvibes

I don't know nothing about no Club 33.... :lmao:

It makes you feel like a VIP entering in a 'secret' entrance! :cool1:

Great face on Mel! :lmao: I can never get enough of funny "trying Beverly" pictures.
LOL Me either!!!!! She is probably gonna kill me when she sees that pic on here! :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

I'd say, you're not going to be so up to wanting to eat a big meal at R&C in 2 hours. :confused3
hummmm..... we'll see.

That special lounge as SE sounds awesome !!Is it only for MAW ??? I love getting people to try Beverley, had fun with it in October !!!

It is a lounge for Siemen company that they let Wish families use as well. It is really neat inside! :goodvibes

I think I am going to try to get people to drink Beverly every trip!!! :drinking1

Tim! Yay for the update!

I love the pic of Juliana looking out the window on the Monorail!:cutie:

She also looks so cute holding that Squirt and sporting the princess Minnie ears! How cool that you got to be VIPs in the Siemen lounge!

I am also so glad to see you get the GAC passes. We used to get them for DH's uncle's foot before the FP came out. Makes for a whole different day:thumbsup2 You can get so much magic in to your day!

I love that picture.... I wish I took either either before or after those cars in the parking lot though. LOL

She held on to Squirt most of the day!

The lounge was really cool. It was really cool to get a backdoor to SE!

I am also so glad to see you get the GAC passes. We used to get them for DH's uncle's foot before the FP came out. Makes for a whole different day:thumbsup2 You can get so much magic in to your day!
It helps to get on the rides faster and it helped to bypass the lines for characters too. There is a special stamp on the GAC that helps as well as the GKTW button. :goodvibes

Gotta love the way you build up suspense in your report - you left us off with the pic of the door and that's where you would queue the suspense music and creepy narrator voice: 'Did they enter? How does it look on the other side of the door? Find out on the next episode.' LOL.

That is really great that she doesn't drink soda. I'm hoping to raise my kids that way. One of my nieces doesn't like the fizzies from soda so she only drinks juice.

Love the pic of Ana and Mel at the Soarin line (I think that's where it is).

That is sooo cool about the floors. Why can't Disney get Siemens to install that somewhere in the park. :)
