I'm trying to wedge a trip in between summer school and church camp.

wigd, you'll possibly be there on the 4th of July? The way it's looking, we will be, too.

I know, I saw that over on your thread! You have no idea how excited I am at the prospect of a DISmeet!
My guess is that we would be there the 4th through the 9th of July..... if it works out.

The whole thing isn't enclosed. Just the beginning, it's not really very fast and yes, I think she would do it. When she sits down to go she will see that the end of the tube isn't very far away.

I was going to say where are the free DVC points. I am not allowing myself to look at the resale. I am also trying not to allow myself to feel point poor---- which I will when we have to get a 1 bedroom once Luke is 3. (So I have two years till I need to $$$ for more points)

OHHHHHH all this talk last night happened BEFORE the boards went down for maintenance! SO I missed the chit chat! OH JUNE trips!!!??? JULY 4th TRIPS???!! WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!

Okay, I am going to reveal OURS at the end of my October TR, which is coming, ladies, it is coming.. what with a cloudy rainy day in MD, what else is there to do HA!

OH! And a fall trip.... you know that is a thought of mine too... though I might be squeezing in something this spring, we'll see... gotta get the MOST out of these APs!!!

Hmmmmm wonder if the airfares will drop in price, hmmmmm, wonder if we could fly out of Kansas City........

We woke up to the reality that we would be saying good bye to our beloved Beach Club. It was a sad way to wake up.
Even though I had spent time organizing the night before there was much to do before we would be ready to check out at 11:00.
I quickly decided that I would need to call and cancel our Cape May breakfast. UGH!

Does anyone know about late check out? I wonder if that would have been possible?

Marc headed off in one direction and I headed in another. Remember the basket balls that Baylor acquired on the Boardwalk? Well they needed to be packed and that wasn't going to happen with the air in them.

I made my way to SAB with the balls in search of a needle to deflate them.
Score!
They had some that they use to inflate the vollyballs!
I headed up with two deflated basketballs and finished up packing our bags and the purple locker.
I was shoving stuff everywhere. My carry-on being filled with our souvies. What is a carry on for anyway?

The knock from bell services came just at 11:00 and we made our way to the lobby.
It was a sad, sad, knock...
We made our way to the lobby, a place that lifted my heart on the previous days but it was with a heavy heart that we checked out.
The unMagical Express was due to pick us up at 3:30, so after a good bye picture with Art. We headed off to our last Disney adventure of the trip.

This outfit would haunt me.....

DHS was close by so we thought it would be a great place to spend a bit of time. We headed out on the pier to catch the water taxi.
On the way I took these....

We hopped into the water taxi and were on our way. A scorching day awaited us.....

It was hot....but,

We don't say that when we are on vacation....

The story goes, that Marc used to always say, "it's hawwwttttttt" and it made me feel bad, even to the point of taking away my magic. So when I explained that it made me feel like I was torturing him with our Disney vacations we came up for another term for the Orlando heat.

Now we say, "it's Florida"
Yes, that means that it's that humid unbearable hot, but we are indeed thankful to be in Disney.

So lets just say it was "Florida"

Sensing my depression, Marc suggested that while at DHS, seeing if we could grab some lunch at Hollywood Brown Derby. What a sweet gesture on his part!

As we strolled into the heart of the park I noticed these.....

We were just in time for an American Idol show, so in an attempt to dodge the "Florida" we headed in. I'll just say again that we have never been disappointed with this show. How they come up with talent, show after show, I have no clue, but we are amazed by the performances!

We walked to HBD full of hope. I had a new love and it was the Cobb Salad. I was so hoping for a repeat performance!

We entered the restaurant and waited behind these guys, which leads to the question, are they related?

We were seated immediately!

Marc and I shared the Cobb Salad and Baylor had a hot dog.

I just love the nostalgia of the Brown Derby! Here are some pictures of the pictures!

We stepped out of the Brown Derby to a blast of "Florida" air. For some reason we made a very silly decision.

We decided that sitting outside and watching the Indiana Jones show was a good choice.

What were we thinking?

We walked down the path as I dodged the misters in an attempt to keep my hair from turning into a frizzy mess.....

I'm just going to say we were drenched in sweat by the time the show ended.
We made our way out of the park and hopped in the water taxi for our last ride of the trip.

Can you say "sauna"?

Can you say "no air"?

That was our boat ride back.......miserable......

I looked like I had wet myself when I got up from the seat.....

and these were the clothes that I would be flying home in......

It gets worse.......




We arrived back at the Beach Club and gathered our belongings from bell services.
The unMagical Express was waiting.

We rode unhappily to the airport.
We made it through security.
We even got to the gate.
We were told that there was bad weather in Atlanta, so we would not be leaving tonight.....
NO, they would not comp us a room, it wasn't their fault, so we should prepare ourselves for a night in the terminal....

You've got to be kidding me!
NO WAY IN "H E double hockey sticks" am I sitting in an airport over night......

I have not had a true "boo hoo" day yet... but only because I have had a trip already set in place! So..... I am dreading the end of the summer
