A Wigdout trip report, DISmeets, Flashing Jelly Rings and Manpris, Oh MY!

After a few more trips to the buffet for the cold items (for Baylor) our dessert arrived.

Then came the princesses, first we met Aurora.

Last to visit was Ariel.

Our picture with Belle is somewhere with our photo pass pictures. I'll post them at the end of the trip report.

Outside of Akershus I snapped this picture, it's so very pretty here!

Marc and Baylor were wondering if this little burro could help tote my bags.

We made our way back to the Beach Club to rest a bit and get ready for another meet with a Princess, this one for Illuminations!

Oh yummm! That looks so yummy!!

Love the hat picture too!

It's so funny, right after we get off of the Grand Fiesta Tour the guys go straight to hats and pose.
All of the food was very good at Akershus, Baylor loved the cold buffet line!

We rested up and headed back through the International Gateway to find a spot for Illuminations. We were planning on a much anticipated DIS meet with Charleston Princess and crew. I called Jackie and she was sitting outside Test Track and said that they would be heading our way shortly.
We planned on having a flashing, blinking, and otherwise annoying little party in hopes of keeping last minute crowd in guests away. We weren't mean, really we weren't. The kids even passed out party toys to the kids around us.
Here's Jackie, Chelsea and I.

Marc, Connor and Baylor!

470.jpg

Connor was checking out the blinking hand clappers and Chelsea was on the quest of perfecting the perfect Mickey head with the squishy toy when suddenly it popped and Chelsea was dripping with goo!

Jackie whisked her right over to the restroom to wash up and the boys hopped up and got really silly!
:rotfl:

472.jpg

Illuminations was awesome as usual, the boys did a great job of keeping the crowders away! When the fireworks were over we decided to walk over to Test Track to use some fast passes so we walked with Jackie and the kids as they headed to their bus. The boys were quite a pair!

474.jpg

All too soon we said our goodbyes and parted ways. As it turned out Future World was closed so we made our way back to World Showcase. On our way we found an abandoned stroller so Baylor climbed in. Pretty pathetic...

We spied a Disney toad on our way back to the Beach Club!

This was a very fun and full day, we headed up to our room, tossed in some laundry and went to bed.

Tomorrow would be some quality SAB time and another DIS meet!

Great update!
BTW that toad could turn into my Prince Charming :D.
(I know shockers going to have something crazy to say to that one ;))

Baylor was such a good sport with all of the Princesses! What a gentleman! Love that you got to have a DisMeet with CharlestonPrincess, the boys seemed to have a blast!

Great update Anita!!! This one was full of all sorts of fun!! You know I never noticed the Donald Duck pinata before that was a fun picture!!!

Got to love the Visa Meet and Greet...what a fun experience!! One of my most favorite memories was made back there!

I'm a big fan of the hat pictures...they do make quite the pair!!!

Dinner look yummy, dessert looked even better!! I love school bread and the rice cream dessert...hmmmmmm makes me very hungry this morning LOL!

YAY for a great Illuminations DIS meet!!!!!! I'm glad you guys had so much fun!!!!!!

Kudos to Baylor!! He was a regular Prince Charming with the Princess crew!!:thumbsup2 I'm so glad you enjoyed your dinner there and yummmm school bread for dessert!!:goodvibes

How fun to have fireworks buddies!! I love the light up hand clappers, I've never seen those before. Connor would be over the moon with those! The picture of Connor and Baylor walking is so cute!!! Poor Chelsea and the goo!

Looking forward to more!

Sounds like another great Disney Day!

So did you enjoy your food at Akersush? I really want to go there someday, I want to see Ariel in her pretty blue dress!

Yay! You met Jackie!!

What a fun, full day your family had!:yay: Baylor looks very chivalrous with all of the princesses. He'll make some Princess a very fine Prince some day.:goodvibes

The Donald pinata disturbs me everytime I see it!

What a nice dis meet you and Jackie's family had. You girls are all coordinated in your pink and green, and the boys in their orange and yellow. So cute! The boys look like they hit it off well.:thumbsup2

The food in Norway looks pretty good -- I always shy away from there for lunch or dinner because the menu choices sound "weird" to me.

Love, love, love the pictures of Connor and Baylor!!! They were too funny together!

Wigd and Shocker (assuming Shocker helped with the burning of the CDs -- if not then just Wigd ;)), you are my favorite people today! I came home from Chelsea's orthodontist appointment with the grim knowledge that her braces are going to cost us a grand total of $4625 (yes, the figure is seared into my brain, but I did refrain from turning to her in the consulting room and saying what was foremost in my mind, "We could stay a week at the Grand Floridian for that!"), to find a very exciting package in my mailbox! I can't wait to pull up all of our Photopass pictures. Thank you again for being in charge of all of that!

We had 2 in braces at the same time...well, actually, they're still in them for another year. Thank goodness for payment plans.:upsidedow

And Anita, Happy Belated Birthday! I'm running a little late. And thanks for taking care of the photopass share.

Great update!
BTW that toad could turn into my Prince Charming :D.
(I know shockers going to have something crazy to say to that one ;))
I do hope you meet your Prince Charming at Disney, wouldn't that just be magical? If you are wondering, that toad was camped out under a light post right off the canal between the IG and Beach Club.....
Baylor was such a good sport with all of the Princesses! What a gentleman! Love that you got to have a DisMeet with CharlestonPrincess, the boys seemed to have a blast!
I can't say he was thrilled about meeting all of the princesses, but he's still young enough to be a bit enamored with them. I'll bet we won't have any of it next year!
Yes, the boys got along very well, Baylor enjoys DIS meets and the opportunity to make new friends.

Great update Anita!!! This one was full of all sorts of fun!! You know I never noticed the Donald Duck pinata before that was a fun picture!!!
Thanks Jen! Yes, Donald looks like he's about to get the stuffing knocked right out of him! Poor guy...

Got to love the Visa Meet and Greet...what a fun experience!! One of my most favorite memories was made back there!
We love it every time we go, I really thought we would have made it over more often this past trip.

I'm a big fan of the hat pictures...they do make quite the pair!!!
Shall we say Frick and Frack, Tweddle Dee and Tweedum?

Dinner look yummy, dessert looked even better!! I love school bread and the rice cream dessert...hmmmmmm makes me very hungry this morning LOL!
I think of our group I enjoyed the dessert most!

YAY for a great Illuminations DIS meet!!!!!! I'm glad you guys had so much fun!!!!!!
It was fun to actually see them and have a real conversation. We had visited so much on the DIS that I felt like I already knew Jackie. Connor and Chelsea were delightful!

Kudos to Baylor!! He was a regular Prince Charming with the Princess crew!!:thumbsup2 I'm so glad you enjoyed your dinner there and yummmm school bread for dessert!!:goodvibes
I have to admit I had only had school bread one time before and didn't care for it in the least. This time it was much better and I think I ate the whole thing.:goodvibes
How fun to have fireworks buddies!! I love the light up hand clappers, I've never seen those before. Connor would be over the moon with those! The picture of Connor and Baylor walking is so cute!!! Poor Chelsea and the goo!
It was the most fun having those fireworks buddies! The boys were like two peas in a pod! Chelsea and the goo :sad2: she was just working so hard on creating a Mickey head out of that glob ball thingy! I do love the picture of the boys walking and having that conversation!

Looking forward to more!
Oh there will be more, I think I have 5 days left to write up!

So did you enjoy your food at Akersush? I really want to go there someday, I want to see Ariel in her pretty blue dress!
We really did enjoy our meal. I could have however made up my meal from the buffet line it was really good. Marc did mention that it was the most expensive meal of the trip!

Yay! You met Jackie!!
WE DID! It was so much fun, I hope we get to see them again some day.:goodvibes

What a fun, full day your family had!:yay: Baylor looks very chivalrous with all of the princesses. He'll make some Princess a very fine Prince some day.:goodvibes
It was nonstop fun that day for sure! I hope Baylor does find himself a Disney loving princess someday. He loves it so down there.

The Donald pinata disturbs me everytime I see it!
I know, and that little boy getting ready to hit him! Watch out Donald!

What a nice dis meet you and Jackie's family had. You girls are all coordinated in your pink and green, and the boys in their orange and yellow. So cute! The boys look like they hit it off well.:thumbsup2
The boys took no time at all to warm up to each other, they were really quite cute together! It was so much fun to meet up with them!

PUCKER UP!

Lovely
:rolleyes1

From WIGD, I have no idea how Shocker hijacked my computer but those responses were from ME!

The food in Norway looks pretty good -- I always shy away from there for lunch or dinner because the menu choices sound "weird" to me.
The food on the cold buffet seemed really strange to me when I looked over menus for dining options, but that was Baylor and my favorite part of the meal! The salads, meats and cheeses were yummy!
Love, love, love the pictures of Connor and Baylor!!! They were too funny together![/QUOTE]
I thought so too! Can you imagine them if they had been together for a few more days? The would have worn us out!

We had 2 in braces at the same time...well, actually, they're still in them for another year. Thank goodness for payment plans.:upsidedow
I feel your pain on that one, Megan and Keeley are 19 months apart and they overlapped with braces.

And Anita, Happy Belated Birthday! I'm running a little late. And thanks for taking care of the photopass share.
Thanks! and you're welcome, Shocker and LL actually did most of the work, I just did a little of the correspondence.

Still here and following along, Anita. This week has kicked my behind. I guess going back to school with a new principal is always going to hand you a few changes, but I wasn't ready for the drama that we had at the beginning of the week! (Apparently many people felt this was their opportunity to speak up about things that had been bothering them that no one else was aware of. And that was a very awkwardly worded sentence, but anyway...)

Your Epcot day looked awesome!! I'm a little nervous about going to Akershus, but I know Lily will love seeing all those princesses. (and we have Le Cellier to look forward to that night!)
