I might try that first. Simplest things first, right? Do you just go to a medical supply store, I guess?
Psssst, why don't you just try the doctor first?
Well, you know how the
popular girls are! They run the school!
Actually I think we just had a great idea, not a new idea just a really fun idea!
It would be so much fun to gather all of our DISfriends together for a fun filled gabfest of a cruise!
I wish I could be sure a doctor would just give me a shot or medication and not want to go into a thousand tests, etc.
You had to go and say the word
submarine!!!
I'm done for the day!
Tell Chelsea's friends to hush. Poor girl. When does all her work start?
Maybe the doctor could actually help you, for the sake of Disney what do you think?
Jill has already mentioned that, but that will definitely be a last resort.
I may break down and try to just go to a walk-in clinic and see if they'd give me a cortizone shot to see if it helps. If so, I could get one right before I left maybe.
Right now, I'm just annoyed that it is getting in the way of my excitement of the trip, but I know it is nothing compared to what many people endure every day, so I need to be grateful and not grumbly.
OK, the walk-in clinic is sounding better, and you have a right to be grumbly, the darn knee acting up and all.........
I'm hoping the RN in your name means you are right about this!
Can a walk-in place do it, or do I have to see a specialist. I don't have just a general doctor. I had a bunch of cancer doctors when I had my surgery, but not just a regular doctor. If I go to a walk-in place, would they be likely to give me a cortizone shot at least to try and see if that helps?
You might need to see an orthopedic specialist.........but start with the general, sounds like he could pull rank and get you whatever help you need!
Whereas for me it would be cheap and claustrophobic. CC. Coincidentally, those are my initials in real life.
I am hoping for relief, as well, or some serious doses of tolerance, fortitude, and endurance. I've made it very clear that this will be a slow-paced trip for me, but that they need to go on without me. I'll catch up eventually, and it will give me more time to take pictures along the way.
Sorry for the sidetracking of your report. I sort of turned it into a medical convention. It's just been getting progressively worse, and the snap, crackle, pop is a constant reminder that this upcoming trip is going to have to be different, so I'm just aggravated at myself for being lame. I can't stand going to doctors for any reason, but I may have to give in and do that if I can't remedy this myself.
Maybe I need to find Granny Clampett and get her to give me one of her special tonics!
And could you please tell CP that she is not allowed to say the word submarine over here! She's killing me!
