They were pretty good prizes, especially when you note how excited we can get over being given a sticker!

The lifeguards had danced and it was well past time to get cleaned up for dinner. The decision was made to make a quick call and cancel our ADR for Grand Floridian Cafe. I just didn't feel the need to rush out for dinner.... So we lounged around and in the pool.
Well.....
Until the call came out to clear the pool.......

So I walked around and snapped some photos....

They gave us the all clear so swimmers hopped back in and I continued to walk about.....

Then about 15 minutes later they called out for the pool to be cleared again. I think there must have been a pooper in the pool......

It was funny to see the kids waiting while the ducks were swimming away......quack, quack.....

I walked back to get some pictures of the crow's nest from which you make the long plunge to the pool....
Laura, on the opposite side of the stairs up to the crow's nest where you see the little girl standing is a small pool with a slide for the younger kids....

I can't believe that I went down that slide and through that tube.....

The slide isn't as scary as it looks, a little fast but slows down at the end. Then a nice little swoosh into the pool, unless you are Shocker, then look out, it's a T I D A L WAAAAVE! He loves to make the biggest splash!

We stopped for hot dogs and burgers and Beaches and Cream, then up to the villa to get cleaned up for our last evening at Magic Kingdom. I was sad that we had been at Disney all this time and had not seen Spectro, no parade this evening.
We arrived and took a spin on the Jungle Cruise then headed back to Main Street for a central head on look at the Castle and in my opinion the best place to watch Wishes. I just love to stand directly in front of the castle and see the fireworks as they were designed to be seen! It just gives me chills!
I think this was the hottest of all evenings, the air just kind of hung there...

It was crowded but we had a great spot and we weren't moving. People started crowding in around us but we held our ground.

I snapped a few pictures as we waited. Check out the manpris just behind the pole at Casey's.

The fireworks ended and we headed out of the park, with everyone else.....

It had been a very long day, we were tired and I needed to do a last bit of laundry and start packing. We needed to check out of our room by 11:00 the next morning and we had junk everywhere in the villa. I had some work ahead of me!

Thanks for the pics Anita. Exactly what child do you think would go down that little slide in my family... Luke? I have a bad feeling that Emily would believe she could do the big one.... and probably could. She is actually in the same swim class as Hannah now. I go back and forth, I think we could really love AKV too, so if no beach club we will stay at "home" this trip.

Storm Along Bay is just incredible! I'm so glad we bought some of our points at Beach Club, we would never spend real money to stay there.....

I kind of wondered if they would even do the little slide. I guess you could slide down it with Luke....
I really think both girls could do the big slide, it's just a really high climb, that was the worst part to me. If I can go down it anyone can....
Baylor had so much fun on it and he is not a thrill type slide person.
You will have a wonderful time on your next trip, it won't matter which resort you choose.
I can't wait to see Kidani!

I had to do something while waiting for your gigantic, humongous, mega update!
I know, I couldn't believe it when we were getting to the end of the trip and I realized that we weren't going to get over there for my favorite parade!

I was thinking of Caddyshack too! You know...the one time I stayed at BC (it was part of the land/sea) they had cleared the pool twice too. Hmmmmmm Looks so pretty with nobody in it though!
for winning the trivia! We won trivia at Kidani too and our prize was 2 free Bingo cards! Well...we ended up playing bingo and won one of those too.....my niece picked an octopus play-do the prizes were geared towards the younger set which is fine ( I just like the bragging rights of winning!) We ended up giving the play-do set to a nice couple with 2 young boys....they just drank the kool-aid because they had the DVC tote from the tour and it had a tag on it so I think they were new converts
That slide was fun but the tube was creepy! The scariest one I ever did was at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas....you could hear me scream for miles!

I can't believe your trip is coming to a close. What an awesome TR it's been. Come on December!!!!! If CP's TR won't take me all the way to May, then I know yours will.

Btw, that Mickey Mouse talking push button thingy that you sent me, is THE biggest hit in my DH office. He took it out to one of the secretary's desks because she was complaining about a big letter that she had to type and said "you want the Easy Button?" Thank you for the continuous fun!

I'll bet you could print some off, just do a search online, then head down to your nearest DVC and see how it goes!

SAB was really cool, I can't imagine what I would have thought of a place like that when I was a kid!

I have strung this trippie out about as far as possible. I know that December will be here before we know it but right now it still seems forever away....
We'll be right behind you in May, with our end of May/June trip and cruise. At the moment, I'm trying to figure out a way to get another summer trip in that includes Shocker and I driving down.......all by ourselves.

I imagine the pooping occurred down in the sandbar area where the little ones play.... Pretty far downstream where we were but all the same then would need to clean it up. I don't think there were any storms nearby that day so it was poop I guess....
I'm glad you all are enjoying the Mickey "Oh Boy" button. My 2nd graders were having a time with it until I got tired of hearing it whenever they walked past it. So it's behind my desk until just before Christmas break, then they can have at it again!
