When I last left you I was peering over the side of the observation deck at Storm Along Bay. The CMs were working hard to figure out the winner of the trivia game. I had noticed that our entry was being looked at carefully.
Marc, Baylor and I worked as a fine tuned machine answering the questions.
I thought we had a really good chance. I was excited as I zoomed in with my camera.....
I waved across the pool to Marc........nothing.
I wave both arms to try to get Marc's attention.......nothing.
Becoming annoyed and not wanting to lose my vantage point I keep waving like a lunatic. I want him to see me pointing down at the excitement happening beneath me, but not a glance.
Mr. Oblivious is just sitting and taking in the scenery.....
The Frenchy sounding CM steps over to the microphone and attempts to announce the winner.
He has no clue how to pronounce the name. He asks the girl next to him and she whispers in his ear.
Then in his heavy accent he call for WEEGDOUTDEEESMOM!
I shout from above him, "It's me! It's me! and he doesn't seem to hear......
I scramble down the stairs, well a limping scramble, as I call out "it's me! I'm the one you are calling!
What on earth possesses a person to behave that way at Disney?
Finally I have Marc's attention as I go up to claim my prize....
He gets up and meanders across to where I am in a storage room carefully examining all the offerings. They had some pretty good prizes.
Baylor was in the pool and I really needed some help choosing what to take. I looked and looked then moved things around, then looked some more. Finally Marc was at the door and I told him I just couldn't make a choice, but I did. I chose this Indiana Jones game for Baylor to play on the computer..... When he saw it he politely said "cool" what else did they have.....
I guess I should have chosen some nanopod or something???
Yep, it's me in a bathing suit. I can't believe I'm showing this, except if those people had to look at me so do you.

I hobbled back over to our beach chairs to catch some sunshine and people watch just in time for the "changing of the guard" this is a hoot. The lifeguards dance as they end their shift. We had front row seats!

The guy in the cowboy hat was cracking
me up! He sure got his groove on!

Just across the pool is the deck where I was watching the Trivia challenge judging! Do you see a peek of my toes?

Here's a close-up of the bruise just a few hours after the initial injury....

It was getting close to time to head back to the room to get ready for dinner.
It was fun out by the pool.
We had a decision to make.
Would it be Storm Along Bay, or Grand Floridian Cafe?

I havent a lot of reading in the last couple of months. I have been way to busy studing to take the boards in sleep. So much fun. Between that, family, planning our next vacation, school starting and little man there is not much time left in the day.

I didn't know the lifeguards danced at the end of their shift -- what a hoot!!!

I saw the lifeguards dance on one of our trips, but I just thought they were doing an activity. They may have been changing shifts. I'll have to take more notice of this in the future.

I can't believe we were at the BC for a week and I never saw the shift changing dance. They looked like they were having fun, and there was definitely some, ahem... scenery, if you know what I mean.

Ohhhh, I hope you picked the GFC. We have an ADR there in December and I can't wait to try it! (Although I can definitely understand how that pool could tempt you to blow that ADR off.)

We had heard that this happened but were only able to make it to SAB to see it once. It was quite entertaining.

There were games like Candy Land, some sort of Ipet ?, puzzles and maybe some Barbies if my memory serves me correctly. There wasn't much for Baylor so a took the Indy Jones game.

I really thought we had a good chance at winning, most of the answers we knew for sure but a couple we were iffy on. The game? I'm going to go and find it, probably still in a Disney bag somewhere in my closet.

We were there for 10 days and only saw them once, I think it happens daily at 4:00. Do you think that scenery was the reason I couldn't get Marc's attention?
