Did you think I was gone forever?

It's time, once and for all, to stop with the rental car innuendos and threats!!!

Man...sakes...alive, you got me shaking in my boots!! I have been taught through the years that sometimes the "truth" hurts, but I have also learned that it can also set you free..............so, just consider any innuendos that my have slipped from my forked fingers as my effort to help you see the light!! As far as threats, I am pretty sure that I have dared not gone down that road........either in my own vehicle or in a rental......so, I can only assume that must have been directed at someone else on this thread???

Besides, since you don't ever seem to get to be in the "same" chatroom as my brother, Shocker, allow me to share a tidbit that I learned about his last trip to WDW. A little birdie, shared with me after he dared to leave property, that he even vocally mentioned (in other words OUT LOUD stated) that having a rental car might not be a bad idea. Now I am sure, Mr. I Won't Rent A Car, that it is as surprising for you to hear that, as it was for me? I reckon after getting off site, he saw that there might be some advantages to having a vehicle with him while at the World? Of course, we can only speculate why he would allow such a thing to slip from his lips while others were around to hear it? With that said, I think we both know our precious Wigd. well enough to know that she is never going to AGREE to drive to Orlando from KS, so the ONLY option left to my Brother is a rental?? Either that or continue be really kind to those that have vehicles that he can hitch a ride from??

But it is good to see you alive and kicking.......just be careful where you kick, it could make for some really lonely evenings...if ya know what I mean??

This was our first full day to be in the park and we had a lunch ressie for Liberty Tree Tavern. So we slept in and headed to Magic Kingdom about 10:30.

Happy to be on the bus!

I took a picture of myself because I was happy to be on the bus too!

We were the last stop for the resort so we had the bus to ourselves, well we did have a driver....

We stopped for pictures at Casey's..

What the heck was I thinking when I posed for this one? Plus Baylor was taking the picture with my beloved Ashton!

Caught sight of some manpris..... and yes, I reminded Shocker to start counting!

We headed straight over to "the wildest ride in the wilderness" grabbed fast passes then hopped into the standby line, the 20 minute wait turned out to be only about 10 minutes.

We hung onto our fast passes for later and headed over to Fantasyland to get fast passes for Peter Pan, but on the way I spotted these...

I'm not sure what they did, but they were bad, bad, boys.....

We were a bit early for our Peter Pan fast passes so we headed over to Haunted Mansion, 10 minute wait, so we went!

We grabbed our Peter Pan fast passes and went to lunch!

We love Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch.

We started with the tavern fried cheese, LL said this was very good and it was!

We started the "Ice Drop" game.... My ice.

Baylor must have forgot the rules because I caught him trying to cheat, Baylor, it's the ice that lasts the longest, don't blow on it!

Lunch was so very good!
After lunch Baylor wanted to go see some Tiki Birds so off we went to Adventure land!

I didn't take any picturs inside but MeMom has some great ones!
Yes, this show is corny but we really do enjoy it!

We were park crossing fools, so we headed over to ride Peter Pan then I decided that I would enjoy a twirl on the Carousel. This was a first for us!

After our spin on the carousel we headed west to frontier land where we had a date with a little "wild" and a little "splash".


Up next: What lengths will a girl go to, to keep her hair dry in the briar patch?

As always Wigd. another fun and great update. I am truly glad to find out that Shocker did prove himself trustworthy and capable of being able to not only load Ashton up with fresh batteries, but that he was also able to hold Ashton long enough to be allowed to snap a few pictures of you at Disney too! Of course that is not saying that you did a bad job of taking your own picture before Shocker was allowed the honor!!! Hey Shocker, don't get to excited, I just went back and looked at the pictures again.........I'm thinking it might have been one of those things where is was by default that you got to use Ashton!! When I saw where each of you were riding.......it was clear that Baylor wouldn't be able to get a decent picture of Wigd. with you inbetween her and him!!!

As far as the picture of Shocker, Baylor and Number 1, you didn't happen to whisper anything in Donald's ear just prior to that picture did you?? For some reason it sure looks like Old Donald is about to give my Brother a good elbow as soon as that picture was completed???

It does appear that both Shocker and Baylor are indeed in their element and having a wonderful time....."you" too!!!

As far as my brother having already forgotten making "that" statement about a rental........hey, that's what I am here for!!! I mean I know at times "we" forget things and we have to look out for one another, ain't that right Brother, ain't that right???

I thought I did a pretty good job taking my own picture too. If memory serves me correctly it wasn't the only time I had to resort to that in an attempt to record that I was in fact on the trip with them...

Wigd how did you like the pot roast, that is what my husband had. He didnt like it very well. I tasted it and wasnt to crazy about it. It was almost like it has some sort of beer or alchol taste to it. oh and I had the fried cheese as my dessert and it was yummy! Of course I shared with the kids too.

We both loved our meals. Shocker had not had the Pilgrim's Feast before but I had eaten the Pot Roast in March and couldn't wait for more. I'll have to look at that recipe and see if there is some wine in that gravy........

Yep, the recipe calls for 1 cup burgundy wine......
That's why it tasted like alcohol.

They look so excited as they are about to embark upon this ride. Little do they know what lies ahead as this train loses control!

The LTT food looks good. We ate there the night before Thanksgiving. That was right before they were removing the characters, but now I've read they're bringing characters back, or may have already. I don't know for sure.

I laughed out loud over all the manpris pictures -- I really didn't realize what a craze they are!!!

Lunch looks very yummy at LTT. One of these days we will head over there.

Actually I have never had the LTT Tavern Cheese but I dream about it. I need to eat there, your lunches looked so GOOD!
