A Wigdout Spring Break Adventure very short pre-trip report

Baylor has to save enough money for a castle before they can have the wedding.....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:[/QUOTE]

WHAT??????? After "YOU" encouraged him to propose, I would think the least you could do, is to purchase your son and future Daughter-in-Law a comfortable place to reside once they marry!!!!!! Or, I suppose, you could just let her know how you love DVC and have added enough points that she will be able to visit "home" very often!!!! LOL

Oh my gosh, I hate it when real life interferes with my dis'ing!!!!!!

Shocker you did good man. Wigd really is a lucky woman...'cept for the duct tape thing you do. :sad2: :lmao:

:scared1::rotfl2:lol somehow I missed this the first time 'round....lol

Since this is an official trip/pre-trip report, I need to take a minute to show some purchases for our upcoming trip! Baylor was really, desperately, in need of some luggage. I had been packing for him in a small rolling Disney Duffel bag, then putting the overflow in our bags. Not a good thing when my bag weight is usually within 1/2 lb of exceeding the limit :confused3. So I did some online shopping and found this for the little man!:goodvibes

I'm having some trouble finding just the right shirts for him at Disney Shopping but it seems that he can now wear an adult small, so I found these......

:surfweb:

I also found a few for me, and if I remember correctly they were on sale!

Sorry about the wrinkles they were straight out of the bag....
Also Harper and Mimi needed towels!

008-6.jpg

I think I will put this in her Easter Basket, I have some really cute stuff for her!

I bought the black set of luggage as we already have one set of Mickey luggage that is very similar, but we needed more!! LOVE your tink shirt, my daughter would faint over that one!!!
Baylor is so sweet, she will love her easter basket!! Good choice grandma!!

I love your thinking face.......here is mine...::confused:

I wasn't sure about the paintbrushes so when we lined up to go over I asked a CM if the boys were painting and they said you have to really watch them because they leave their stuff all over the place.......so the hunt was on!:woohoo:
Are you all moved?
and you can tell that I planted my rear on the sofa allll day with the laptop nearby.........:lmao:

Smart smart smart to ask so you could search quickly!! And how sweet you shared with another family!!

We were shocked and amazed at the whole event, I believed he had a bit of a swagger to his walk afterward........
:rotfl2::lmao::lmao::rotfl:

He deserved to!! Loved the ear plugging little boy!! This went so awesomely, next time have him bring two so they will "fight" over him!! lol!!! GREAT job woo hoo!!!

Phew all caught up!! I'll post pics of Rachels cake when we get home!! Marble, butter cream frosting, bavarian cream and fresh strawberry filling and a tink dangle that looks like it is flying with pink flowers surrounding it!! Can't wait to see it!!!!:goodvibes

Well, Wigd it worked. I just got the all clear to book lunch at Chef's. My mother wrote "I'm game to eat with the rat. I must be touched." I don't think she ever thought she'd agree to have a meal with a little rat at the table...:rotfl: Now hopefully in late May we'll be able to book it. Though I could do WDW w/o my Mom, I'm really glad she's joining us. :)

I'm not sure Cinderella would be willing to share her castle.... however Baylor is quite resourceful I"m sure he'll come up with something.

I can't wait to see this cake! I hope all is well with the gang at Disney and you are feeling better by the time you go!
Baylor is really excited about his luggage (and I am too) :goodvibes When Connor gets older you will need to have him propose, it was such fun!

Glad you got the OK from your mother...... Remy isn't just any rat, he's a Disney Pixar rat, and that makes him very special!

I think if I tried to get Connor to propose he would put me in my place really quickly!! Now Jacob, the baby, he is already a ham....me thinks I could get him to do it!!;)

Hey guys! LOOOVED the video w/Baylor and Anastasia-la! Tooooo funny and a great bit of magic that YOU GUYS brought TO Disney! Awesome!!

Definitely put the proposal on your future "to do" list, it was lots of fun!:lmao:

Awwww, thanks Julia, we try to have our magical moments and if we drag others along with us all the better!

Baylor tried to get out of this but when Mom says you will never come back to Disney unless you do this, what choice did the boy have?

Up next.........DHS and who spoke the words every teacher hates to hear? "He cut me???

Now wait.......YOU threatened Baylor to make the proposal?? All this time I thought it was just a kind, sweet, mother encouraging her child to do it, IF and only IF he decided it was something he would enjoy doing????? I have heard of Shot Gun Weddings (after all I am from the "south"), but I have honestly never heard of a MOTHER forcing her son to propose with the threat of NO more Disney, if he didn't!!! Poor Baylor........being treated the same as Shocker!!!!! For Shame!!!!!

Goodness, don't tell me there is going to be more blood in this report?? HE CUT ME????? Well, in Tracy's schools, when those words are spoken, it means somebody is bleeding!!!!!!!!

I'm guessing it was probably Shocker.........I am sure that following day Baylor was still in shock from being FORCED to propose to your future Daughter-in-Law!!

by the way move my guess on the ADR pool up to 2 dozen, though you have probably already surpassed that by a few!!!

We arrived early at DHS, not quite rope drop, but shortly after.... We walked fast toward TSM in hopes of getting fast passes. As we walked down the steps we noticed a line, a very long line, it was for the fast pass machines. All the way down to the steps..........
Marc decided that he would wait and Baylor and I could head over to TOT and catch a quick ride in stand-by. We headed over but once we got there the wait was 60 minutes. So we wandered back to see how far Marc and the line had progressed. The line was moving but there was no need for us to join him so we wandered down near the fast pass machines (which were roped off in an attempt to make order of the mob). Baylor and I were standing and waiting and then this guy walked up and just stepped over the rope and got in a short line for a fast pass! I couldn't believe it! Nobody seemed to notice because the long line was feeding into all the machine short lines. I stood and stared........so it was me that uttered the words, but it wasn't exactly he cut me, it was more like he jumped the rope and cut all of these guests that were waiting in this very long line! There were no cast members around so I took a couple of pictures of the guy. Maybe he is some VIP and I'm just unaware of his celebrity status! He's the one in the blue striped shirt.....

013-3.jpg

Here's another.....
012-1.jpg

I headed down the line for the nearest cast member to tattle, I was really ticked that this guy felt entitled to line jump in front of such a long, long line... and all the cast member said when I told him was...........Shame on him! I was shocked, I don't know what I expected him to do, but what if everyone just ignored the lines? What the heck, call out the special forces, we have us a rope jumper and on TSM of all things..............

OH well.........rant over. I stayed mad for maybe 5 minutes then decided not to let that creep of a guy to take another of my magical moments away.

We got our fast passes and Baylor needed to eat, so we stopped at Starring Rolls for some morning treats.....

015-2.jpg

Baylor had the eclair, Marc had the apple filled pastery, and the other was mine, it was creme filled like Baylors. Yummy!

We then headed for American Idol experience to see what time the first show was, the cast member told us to come back in 30 minutes so we headed over to Star Tours to check out the stand-by time. It was only about 20 minutes so we lined up.....
We finished right on time then straight back to American Idol, I was dying to check it out!
The host came out before we went into the auditorium and this is what was on the big screen........

019-2.jpg

020-2.jpg

Can you spot Marc in the red shirt taking a picture?
021-2.jpg

The talent was incredible! What a great new show......we will make sure to go again in June.:goodvibes

Our next must do was Beauty and the Beast, we had never seen this show and I really wanted to give it a try. We were in luck, just the right time to go in and get seats, it was a great show. I remember when the girls were little this was one of the movies that I could quote because they watched it over and over again.....

038-2.jpg

We loved it!

Time for our TSM fast pass window and we were on our way. Marc and Baylor rode together but the competition was all about Marc and me.......
I won.........
It was now time for lunch and I wanted to take the boat to Epcot and eat at Sunshine Seasons but Baylor doesn't like the smell in the land so we decided to try Beaches and Cream......
That turned out to be a great plan, we had dessert first..........
I shot a few pictures of Stormalong Bay, (can't wait until June)!

048-2.jpg

049-2.jpg

We played "who's ice will melt first" while waiting for our burgers....

053-2.jpg

You would never believe that this boy had just been blowing on his ice to help himself win..........
Baylors second dessert.........
..

It was time for a walk over to the Boardwalk for "Welcome Home Wednesday" and another Dismeet!

:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: Those are some of those dreaded words for a teacher!
I hear it from the other classes....... not mine anymore........lol.
I hear this way to much this year.... my group- yikes!

I got sooo tired of those words that my kids don't leave the room unless they are in their "line order". I have the special ones at the front of the line...:
:rotfl:

Well as far as that proposal, I did what I had to do..........and mother does know best, it turned out perfect!
As it turned out nobody was bleeding but if I could have pushed that Mr. Special line jumper (does he look like Michael Keaton:confused3) guy down, it could have been his knee...........:rolleyes1

You are sooooo far off on the ADRs............:
:rotfl2:

:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: You took a picture of the line jumper!!! I love it!!! I would have been ticked, too. Injustice and not playing by the rules always makes me mad!

Your yummies from Starring Rolls look soooo good!

Now you are making me wish that I hadn't switched from the Beach Club this summer! :rotfl: Not really, but the photos are great! Baylor is going to have so much fun at Stormalong Bay.

I would have been fuming mad about the line jumper but good for you that you didn't let it get you down for long! :thumbsup2

I really must go to Starring Rolls, everything from there looks delish!

I agree- line jumper pix are too funny. That guy was so oblivious to the fact you were taking his picture. Oh well- whatever. We know that impatient rude people like that so early in the morning usually end up unhappy, irritated, and unsatisfied after a long Disney Day, don't we?! :wizard::rotfl2:

And those yummies DO look good... any idea if those types of things are considered snacks on DDP?

Ahhh... Beach Club... how I long for thee.....

Wigd was certainly very irate over this line/rope jumper! :furious:
I am surprised she did not follow him and expect me to find her AFTER I had gotten the fast passes. :thumbsup2
But I imagine an assault charge would probably ruin a day at Disney! :furious:
Once again, I let Wigd win again at TSM.....:rolleyes1
