A Wigdout Spring Break Adventure very short pre-trip report

I did not slack at all during the trip, the manpris hunt was on. The only time I didn't get pictures was when it was too obvious, or when I couldn't get my camera out in time. I will admit that I did chase some of them down when they walked past us.......
The guys just got used to me running off!

OH, I knew you would be OBESSIVE about it.......I wasn't sure you would be as committed to it as you were to making ADR changes, but I knew that you were going into it with the intentions of adding additional EXCITEMENT to your trip..........I also knew that sooner or later Shocker would only act like he was trying to get those pictures for you and he really would not be willing to chase after somebody wearing a pair!!!!!!!!!! So, that is helpful to know that you just did it yourself!!!!

I was just about to lay down for my nap, when I realized you were back at the resort, after what I hope was GREAT morning...........wow, you really do take breaks during the day.......I just don't know if you are really getting your money's worth laying around the resort though????

Well, after I REST, I will try to get back here and make my guess, until then

Came back for a quick nap and Baylor passed out, I got up and got ready to go down to the pool, (actually sitting here in my swim suit) eeeeek, no mind movies please! If this boy doesn't wake up soon, there will be no time for our swim! We have a late reservation at Kona for dinner, but I will need to wash and dry my hair if we do make it down to the pool..... What to do, what to do....

Kona sounds wonderful. I have never been, but every time someone puts up a picture of the steak, potatoes, and broccoli, I remind myself that I am going to get there sooner or later! Maybe on the December trip.

Whew............I survived VBS!!!! I hope that your flight back was uneventful (well, I hope there is a story or two in there for you to share), but I do hope that you made it home safe and sound??

Should we all guess how many days of REST that Wigd. and Shocker will need before they find their way back to the Dis Boards, after an Extended, Fun-filled, Exciting, and Magical 2 weeks at the WORLD?????

I SURE DO MISS THEM, ALREADY!!!!

Now to find my calculator and figure out just how many MANPRIS pictures you took.........I sure do hope it's a good prize, cause this is going to be a LOT of work!!!!!!!!!

OH, I can't wait to hear the travel stories........however seeing that it came at the end of your Magical 2 weeks, I know it will be months before you finally spill about it. But at my age, I will have forgotten that there was excitement, so it will all be new again to me, when you get to that part months from now!!!

I do hate that there were issues on the trip home, but glad that you eventually found your way back, Safely. I do understand that you all will likely need a little rest, so hope that you are able to ease back into real world with the rest of us.

Too bad about those bags. I guess they were so popular that they all sold out. I'll keep my eye out in July, in case they restock, but I think you said it was smaller than what you needed anyway, right? I bet a creative person (not me) could make their own Mickey bar on a bigger bag. It doesn't look like it would be too hard if you knew how to sew and do an iron-on thing.

The good news is I can iron, the bad is, I can't sew. But, I wonder if the Vera Bradley cloth napkins could be sewn together to make one.....I have a friend that can do the sewing.......

My laundry came home finished thanks to our villa with a washer and dryer, what a nice change for us! I usually have piles and piles.....

OK, it’s now time for me to make my guess in Wigd.’s amazing MANPRIS CONTEST. I hope my luck is better than Baylor’s was at the Basketball game on the Boardwalk, however at least this game is FREE......I do like FREE and CHEAP, you know!!


Now, since the first discussion of Manpris hit the chat room and your pre/trip/pre/trip report, I have begun to see them more and more. Of course, that probably has more to do with the discussion itself than the fact that they are growing in popularity, since I never notice clothes, or shoes, or bags, or anything else for that matter.......with that said.......I had to do the math backwards, in hopes that with your search for them increasing, instead of the popularity growing, that I needed to figure out how many “other” pictures were taken to then find out how many shots were left that must have been of “MANPRIS”!!! Here is how I broke it down..................

1000 plus pictures taken (according to your “tip”)

I thought I would start with the easiest first.............FOOD PORN pictures.....
Now considering that there were many ADR changes and not knowing how many of them were buffets that would leave Shocker’s plate not photographed since it would NOT be pretty .......I just deducted about ½ of Shocker’s meals from my estimate. Then since you were kind enough to spend some of your Magical Trip with us, while actually AT Disney, by visiting chat and keeping up with your thread......I have deduced that you missed TWO of your ADRs!!! Therefore that is an additional 6 pictures that were not of Food Porn...........which leaves me with 144 pictures of Food Porn actually taken. That of course, is adding an additional few to make sure you got the perfect picture at each meal!!

Next, I decided that you likely took lots of pictures of the TWO resorts that you spent your time at during this Magical Vacation. Since both resorts sounded so nice and “pretty”, I felt like they were probably picture perfect and therefore you used Ashton a good bit at each resort. I am also sure there were plenty taken of Baylor at the pools and slides. So, out of all those on your cards, there is likely around 137 of the two resorts. NO, wait..............there were probably at least 3 of those that included Shocker around the pools, then when you saw him in his Speedo, they were deleted ..........so my final total for resort pictures would be 134!!

Two weeks AT the World, even with rain, meant a good bit of park time. I would hope that a good portion of those pictures were of you and Baylor having a BLAST at the 4 parks. Total pictures of you and Baylor having a Magical time...301!! I am sure that you made a special attempt to get a few of Shocker during your park time, JUST to prove that he was there and was working hard to make your trip Magical and perfect. Total Park pictures, including the 4 of Shocker........305!!!

I don’t know for sure how many Dis Meets you ended up having.......I guessed around 22!!! I know that you wanted a picture of each Dis family you met, guessing that you were able to find a “trusting” soul to give your Ashton too, most people snap several when taking them for someone else so that there is a good chance that at least one of them will turn out good. 83 pictures total.

Next, we have your First trip OFF property with FLChick. What would Mickey think???? However, since it was the FIRST time off property........I am sure there were NEW sights that you hadn’t seen before.....even if it was STORES!! So, I am sure that you used Ashton a good bit that day!! 109 pictures of NON Disney stuff!! FOR SHAME!!! I do hope that you all had a good day, it sounded like Baylor did anyway and how sweet of Chickie to give you and Shocker some alone time, while her and Baylor went to Disney Quest!! Oh and thanks for spending that ALONE time in chat with US that evening!!!!!!

Though you haven’t spilled the story yet, I am sure there are some misc. pictures of “those” folks at Disney .......you know the line cutters, the illumination explainers, troll stealers, etc........I am hopeful that you didn’t see a lot of rudeness this trip, so I am hoping that Ashton only came out for that purpose on a very limited basis. 7 pictures added to the count.

Of course, there were Fireworks, Parades, Characters, DTD, not to mention park shots that had to be taken to make sure that the Castle hasn’t changed from 3 months ago, etc. So, I figured there would be around 169 of those types of pictures.

That’s a total of 951 pictures......leaving 49 that MUST be pictures of MANPRIS??? Of course you did say 1000 PLUS..........so, I’ll round up to 55 and say that’s my calculated GUESS????
