OK all you experts out there ....

In December, I am taking my DH, DS10 and DS8 to Orlando. I used to live in St Pete so I have been to all the parks many man times. They, however, have never been to Orlando. We will be there for one full week, Friday to Friday and are having a VERY hard time trying to optimize our trip plans. There are things at all the main parks that we want to do (4 Disney Parks, 2 Universal parks and Sea World). I am trying to think of how to get 'the best of everything' while down there.

What is everyone's thoughts on maximizing the things that can be seen/done. I don't necessarily want/need to see everything at every park (cause that is very impossible in one week) but want to get the best of the best.

Of course, another aspect is, what is the best ticket choice? I can get Sea World tickets for free. I found one offer for a 3-Day Park Hopper plus DQ for $181 (adult) and Universal is offering Buy2Get2DaysFree with FREE childs tickets!1

So, what do you think?

I don't know how much advise I can give, but I thought I would bump you up.

I think you are going to be very tired if you do all of those parks in one week. Maybe one day at Sea World, two days at Universal, and one day at MK, one day at Epcot, and split AK and MGM into one day. That would give you a rest day, which I think you will need.

Not sure about the tickets. Sounds like you have lots of planning to do. Good luck and have a great time!!

You do sound like you will run yourself dry if you do it that way. DH and I were in Florida in March and I regret doing it the way we did it. I had 2 days at universal and 4 days at Disney. We were very tired! We did not plan for any relaxation time. From the time we got there till the time we left it was all about the parks. We are going again in March and we will be there for 2 weeks. We are planning 5 days at Disney, 2 at Universal and 1 at KSC. That's 8 days and we will have the rest to relax.
