Just one week from today we will hit the road to Disneyworld. This will be mine(48), DH(48) and DS (22) 5th trip but we are taking DS's girlfriend and this will be her very first time to go to Disneyworld, plus it is her 21st birthday and our 26th wedding anniversary. We are putting all the celebration into Shanna's birthday. I have 3.5 days of fun-filled, jam-packed stuff and I know she won't get to see and do all I would like for her to see. We are staying at Pop Century and I have dinner reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern, Cape May Cafe, Hollywood Brown Derby and breakfast at Chef Mickey's. Even we have never been to the Derby or Chef Mickeys. But I wanted her to be a part of several character meals. I have a cake reserved at the Liberty Tree. We are also going to get to see a Braves and Yankees game on Thursday and that is a special highlight for my son. We also have Fantasmic at MGM, a parade and disney wishes at Magic KIngdom, and Illuminations at Epcot. We are also going to hit all the parks, no water parks...I just hope to have time to go to Downtown Disney. Someone told me to go to customer service and get her a birthday button and a 1st time button...it would be absolutely wonderful if she received one of the million dreams hats or pins. I don't know if I am more excited for myself or for Shanna. I'll be sure and do a trip report with pictures. I'm hoping for good weather and not too bad of crowds. This will be our first time to go in March...but I can hardly wait.
