A WDW Dream Vacation in the Making for Katelyn PTR

Just popping over to say hi. I've read your PTR and it sounds like you have everything all set and are counting down the days (hours and minutes...). Getting some red, black and white feathers before your trip sounds like fun. Mabye some coordinating crackle nail polish too.

As for roller coasters at the parks I will add my two cents....My DD tried Rock n Roller coaster on our last trip. She is not that daring but I think she liked RNR but probably kept her eyes closed the entire time. I think that because it is a newer, metal coaster RNR is pretty smooth. Also, since the harness comes from above I feel more secure in the seat and feel like I don't get bumped around as much. When we do ride Thunder Mountain my husband will put his arms around the kids and holds them close (or just puts his arm across the back of the seat) so they don't bump their heads on the back/sides of the seat. Carrie, I think you are probably right on with not going on Space Mountain. I felt nervous going on this ride with my DD since we couldn't "hold" onto her.

Hi!! Thanks for popping by!! K is usually not that daring either, so when she said she wanted to ride there was no way i was going to tell her no. Now my hubby, the over protective one, isn't crazy about the idea. But mom will intervene & talk some sense into him!! We may do Thunder Mountain...I don't know if I have ever ridden that one. I really hope she decides to do it & doesn't back out at the last minute. That is the only reason we are even going to DHS!!!

Katelyn just had feathers, but she decided that they hurt when she brushed over them & so they got a big knot around them & they had to come out in order to get the knot out. She wasn't very happy about it, but I am thinking we both may need some red, black & white feathers before the trip!!

Maybe red, black and yellow streaks would be easier to maintain? We've also had hair bling before which was a lot of fun. You could put in lots of sparkly red, black and yellow bling. That would make for some fun pictures!

One of my dds loves roller coasters and the other is terrified of them. I loved them when I was young but now that I am a bit older (not saying how old!!!) I get motion sick on a lot of things. I am ok on Space Mountain and Splash Mountain but I've never tried RnR. I tend to do other rides with my non-roller coaster loving daughter while my hubby takes the other daughter on the thrill rides.

YAY!! Finally someone going the same time as us!!! I was beginning to think we were going to have the parks all to ourselves!!!

Hi! I was so touched by your family's story. Your daughter is just beautiful! I am so sad that we will miss you by a week. We get there on 9/16 and leave 9/25. I see she has received some really cool things to prepare her for her trip. I there is anything "special" you need for one last surprise, etc, pm me and I will pick it up while we are there and overnight to you.

She is going to have such an amazing time!!! Let us here from you after you return.

Hey everyone!!

We are just ticking away the days until the big vacation!!!




We had some BIG GIVE action Wednesday!! 3 different packages!!

The first package was from Flora (DisnameurpleEars)
There was a very nice letter & an adorable jewelry roll. Katelyn put all of her jewelry in her roll last night for safe keeping!!

Just ignore the spaghetti all over her face!!

This envelope put up quite a fight!!

Thanks so much Flora!! She has all of her treasures in her roll!!

The next package was from Robert & Cheryl

A $15 iTunes gift card!! She has big plans for that already!!

The card was a handmade Mickey card!! It is adorable!!

Thanks so much Robert & Cheryl!! That airplane is gonna be rockin' right along with her!!

And the last package was a biggie!!

It was from Chris & Lynn D. but there was no disname.

It had the cutest lanyards for the entire family & the absolute CUTEST bag for, well, I am assuming here...ME!!!! I absolutely LOVE it!!

Thank you so much Chris & Lynn!! Everything is so cute!! We love it!! I cannot wait to move into my new bag!!!

We had a fun day today!! The Dream Factory of St. Louis had a special day at Six Flags!! We had lots of fun!! Got to see some old friends & meet some new ones!!

Including...Daffy and Sylvester

AND...Scooby Doo!!

We got to see the Mystery machine!!

AND then to make a perfect day even more perfect...guess what was waiting for us when we got home?!?!?! Go ahead...guess...I'll wait!!!

That's right!! A BIG GIVE package!!! This one was from Ballet Mom...No first name...just the Disname

It had a FABULOUS picture of Agent P on the back of the envelope!! K was so excited to see that!!

She really gets into opening those envelopes!!

There was an AWESOME zebra & pink polka dot pillow case in the envelope!! Katelyn was SO excited!! She immediately said, "Mom!! Can I sleep with it tonight!?!?!?!" And it totally matches her bedroom!!!

Did I mention it has her name on it??!?!?! Thanks so much Ballet mom!! Your pillow case is a BIG hit!!!

Oh my gosh!! The Dis'ers are SOOOO talented!! They are just amazing!! Katelyn is usually the big trend setter in our area for patterns for her KAFO's. Normally, she will get to shop online for the pattern, but this time she just loved the pink "camo" (I don't think it looks much like camo) the previous pair were pink snake skin!! She is a "wild" child!! LOL!!
