We are still busy planning away here!! Today is the 52 day mark!!! YAY!! It seems so far yet so close!!!

Getting some loose ends tied up around here!! Someone came out & adjusted Katelyn's "wheels" today, so that is already to go. I had a endoscopy today, just to follow up & make sure nothing is trying to re-grow. The results were all clear!! The doctor did some research & said that there were only 10 cases that he could find of my type of cancer. So I really am like one in a million!!

My in laws got Katelyn a surprise last week. She got an iPod Touch!!! She has been pining after a touch for awhile now. This will be perfect to keep her occupied on the plane!! She was soooo excited!!! We will be going to Six Flags on August 27th. It is Dream Factory day for the St. Louis chapter, so this will be K's first time there. Hopefully I will have some new surprises to share with everyone soon!!

Your daughter is very pretty I think it is great she is going on the dream trip if I can help you with any information just ask we go a number of times each year my youngest daughter works for disney and I love the place. We have raised 3 daughters and now have been blessed with 6 grandaughters and 1 grandson. I know a little about spina bifada as a very dear friend of mines grandson has this he has lived a sucessful life he is the age of my daughters so anything is possible he is a good looking loving young man last I heard he was managing a subway and going to college it was so neat when he turned 16 and got his drivers licences. h avent heard from in a while but my girls talk to him. He was blessed and was never was in a wheel chair but he wore braces on both legs and has had numerous surgeries. Again your daughter is beautiful and I know yall will have a great time and oh yes she must do rocking roller coaster one of my favorite rides and congratulations on your good check up.

Thanks so much for all of the kind words!! I remember the day Katelyn was born, there was one nurse in the room with us that took Katelyn's diagnosis particularly hard. She made a point to let someone know that 18 years before almost to the day, that her son had been born with Spina Bifida & that we shouldn't worry about everything the doctors were going to tell us, because her son's bedroom was on the 2nd level of their house & he was never supposed to walk either. (I tear up even now as I think of that)

She is really getting excited & so thrilled about the Rockin' Roller Coaster...especially since we were always told that roller coasters would be off limits!! Our doctor said she would be a-okay!!

Thanks for joining in on our pre-trippie!! We have been once before with K when she was 5...but our visit consisted of hunting down EVERY princess we could get an autograph from!! We seriously rode Dumbo & It's a Small World at Magic Kingdom & that was literally it!!

Thanks for the congrats on being cancer free!! I feel so blessed & humbled to have come out of this basically no worse for wear!!

I was really hoping that we would run into someone from the DIS while we are down there, but it seems as though we are missing everyone a week before or a week late!! '

I am so glad to hear that you DD liked BBB at her age!! I was kinda worried that it would just be too kiddie for her, & was really really hoping it wasn't going to be a huge waste of our time (and $$$$). Thanks for setting my mind at ease!!!

The last time we went to WDW, we did the dinner with Cinderella & the Gang at 1900 Park Fare, so Chef Mickey's will be a new experience for us!! I am really looking forward to it & K is just beside herself excited about the whole thing!! It has been so much fun counting down with her!! Have you seen the Disney Connection countdown for your desktop?? If not, let me know...I can send you the link!! It counts down days...hours....and minutes!! We check it almost everyday!! :0) Our count down says

46 Days...1 hour...26 minutes!!

They will have lots of pumpkins and fall decorations up at the Magic Kingdom. The first Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is Sept. 13th and the park will be decorated for it! We are going to the first party.

Hey everyone!!! I can FINALLY share one of these secrets I have been dying to share!!!!


We received our first BIG GIVE today!!!!! YAY!!!!!

Katelyn received an envelope from Jen & Jordan Baney (disname:jenblo23) with a very cool surprise!!

Katelyn's grandparents had gotten her an iPod Touch just in time for our trip!!! And Jen & Jordan just added to the tunage!!!

Not to mention a pretty awesome card handmade by quite an artist!! Thanks Jordan!! Katelyn loved the card you made!!! Great Minnie Mouse!!!

Thanks so much for the tunes!!! She will have a blast picking out some new music to load up!!!
