A WDW disaster (ALMOST)

Last night was the most terrible Disney experience I have ever endured! After a week of doctor's (oncologists, surgeons, gastroenterologists, radiologists) warnings that I need to scale back and lower the stress of a long-planned WDW holiday trip (that will now be my final trip), we called to see about the possibility of upgrading to a higher level resort and the costs. Spent many hours on the phone not expecting much, and while waiting for castmember to contact guest services to see if a split stay could work, we were disconnected. Figured nothing was changed since we did not agree to anything. Checked My Disney Experience a few hours later about an ADR to find the cast member had changed our fully paid 12-night stay to a three-night stay and refunded the other nine nights! PANIC.... had airfare, ADRs, Tickets, park reservations, Cirque de Soliel tickets, etc. on the line! Called back and spent a harrowing time while a GREAT castmember from guest services put it all back together correctly as originally booked and paid for. She was most apologetic about the errors and misinfo from the first CM and took the time and effort to put our reservation all back together! Thank goodness there are at least some CMs who know what to do and how to do it correctly. Yes, I have already completed the survey and e-mailed profuse thanks and kuddos! The only thing better that could now happen would be an unexpected/undeserved upgrade when we check in on Dec 18th!
