A way to make me invisible in search?

Is there a way to make it where someone can't find me in search or a way to make it where someone can't find all posts by me?

Most of the time, that search feature doesn't work anyway. At least that's been my experience . . . not that I'm stalking anyone, of course.

I don't think that there is a way. It seems that if you are really worried and it is not a case of you getting harrassed by another Disboard member you have a couple choices. Like was said don't post which I am guessing is not what you want to do or change your screen name and don't add any info to it (ie signatures, counters, pregnancy info, stay dates, location etc) that way you are less likely to be identified with the new name oh and don't announce that you changed your screen name...

If the OP is being harassed then really the first move should be to PM a moderator to see what they can do to help. If this is about keeping something secret then a separate screen name is the way to go. You have to be careful about that though. There are rules about having multiple screen names.

There isn't really a way to hide yourself. I live by the mantra that anything you post online will be out there forever.

Even if you could hide yourself in the built in site search good luck hiding from Google. As an aside, using google's site specific search usually works better than the built in search. For example, if I was looking for all my posts I could type:

FireDancer site:disboards.com

and google will search the entire site starting at the disboards.com root.
