Went out to see if we'd have a sunset moment. Not really but there are always other things to see in Florida.

One big puffy cloud that produced rain about 10 miles away from us but none here. We REALLY need rain!

One of the many, many anoles that are everywhere.

After seeing these bushes at Disney, I always said I'd have one in my yard if I ever moved to Florida. Now I do!

A flowering tree in my next door neighbor's yard.

Zucchini promising things to come.

Hibiscus flower at the end of the day.

With the sun nearly set, the cloud in photo one has turned a lovely shade of pink.

Beautiful pics! And yeah, that thunder tricked me....I went running with all my plants and flowers that were inside and placed them on the terrace. Not one drop of that much needed rain.

Beautiful photos, nice to see some color. The trees here are just starting to get leaves and the shrubs in the back don't come around until closer to summer, so it's still blah around here. We need rain too, supposed to be coming today and tomorrow.

I know what you mean about rain---I've been watching the forecasts like a hawk lately, hoping & praying for rain!

Those anoles are cute, aren't they? I'm always amazed when I find one in the house--I don't know how they get in!

Most of the reasons I want to live in Florida Thanks for the beautiful photos. I have said when I buy a home in Florida I will have orange trees and hibiscus in my garden and I will grow my own chilli peppers

What is the yellow flower?

I love hibiscus -- usually spring for a couple each year, since the tropical colors aren't perennial here. Last year I added mandevilla too, and got a ton of compliments.

The yellow flower I believe is allamanda. The one under it is oleander I think. Oleander is beautiful but very toxic.

Just what I needed on ANOTHER bleak NJ day! I am truly glad some of our fellow FLA DISers can enjoy this beauty on a daily basis...Appreciate your sharing it with the rest of us!

I don't know what I'll do if I can't find an AFFORDABLE place in FLA near WDW SOON!
But it seems NOTHING is affordable as a 2nd home for us anymore! The mobile homes in parks are lower in cost but YIKES! Those monthly rents are high! HEEELLPPPPPPPPPPPPP!
