I'm going to be setting my mom up with a couple of timeshare weeks in early February. She'd like to be down there longer, but the next week is President's Week, and a good timeshare exchange will be very hard to come by.

So, I'm looking for an inexpensive place she can stay those last two weeks of February. It doesn't have to be anywhere near the parks, as she has essentially no interest in them. Anyone have any ideas?

I have seen Fiesta Keys and Venetian Bay for around $80/night including taxes on hotelmartusa.com. I checked hotelmartusa.com for you and they are not listing these properties yet. All the properties that they are listing keep coming up as sold out for those dates, but I am pretty sure I remember it doing the same thing last year this far out. I am considering booking one of those two properties through them for that same time too, so I am patiently waiting. I have used this site three time now and I have always been happy.

I've had great stays at Cypress Pointe villas and Cypress Pointe Grand Villas through hotelkingdom.com. With the elevators in the Grand Villas that may be a better fit for your mom. We also just had friends enjoy a stay at Vacation Villas -- they are in their 60's and 70's and really liked it there.
