,well I was asleep until Namath (the youngest pug) decide he wanted to play with Kelly and was scratching at her door at midnight, and again at 1.

It’s a good thing we left early as I was so tired I missed the exit for the parking lot I use. And with that Kelly and I got a lovely moonlight tour of the warehouse area off of the Jersey Turnpike.

DOH' again and

we headed straight for the very nutritious breakfast from Dunkin Donuts.

While sitting there I noticed a lime green Mickey. Turns out she was a lurker as she couldn’t get her sign on to work and she loves trip reports and if you are reading now you can say you have appeared in one.

Shortly after this we boarded the plane. Kelly was so excited she decided to make sure Pooh was ok and buckled him in too.

again, she's a cutie!

She was so excited and darn it so was I that I may or may not have had a little lump in my throat.

Imagine driving around at 5 am with an 8 yo, I wa very happy to find rt 78 and get back to where we should be!

WELCOME! and I couldn't believe what stupidity they showed. Waiting to board a flight to Orlando, you can imagine how many kids were in the vicinity!

We took off on time and landed at MCO early! Take that Fay! After our first ride on the fake monorail we headed for our luggage. Happily ours was some of the first bags off. And off to National’s Emerald Aisle to pick our car out.

There wasn’t much to pick from it was a bunch of Impala’s and V6’s . So for the 3rd trip in a row I took a white V6.

A few moments later we were on our way to 417 South and my happy place!!!!!

Now for those that drive there is that .50 toll when you exit and there is never a toll taker. Exact change only. Now I know this but did I remember? NOPE. So there I am with no change. A car pulls up behind me and I get out and ask for change of a dollar. The guy gives me 4 quarters and I offer to pay his toll by handing him .50 back. He insists on not taking it. That’s when I notice his CM badge. So I thank him and tell him I hope to see him again in the coming week. And yes I would have liked to ‘cause he was Hot, ooh yeah. Nice toned arms, you could tell he worked out and

Oh that’s right I have a child with me.

Um never mind about the hot guy…

Next stop the Grand Floridian. As we pull up to the gate house the sun came out. Now Kelly didn’t know about the GF, she thought she was only staying at BCV. When we pulled up to GF she gasped at how beautiful it was.

We let them know that the puggymom family was here and they actually opened the gate and let us in. We pulled up to the valet and let them take care of the luggage. We started towards the door and 2 CM’s came up to us and asked if we were the puggymom family. UH-OH this is where they tell us we don’t belong here.

Nope, they were there to escort us up to our room, not to kick us out. PHEW!

We rode the elevator up to the 4th floor and went straight to our room. This is where staying concierge was great, no waiting in line and since the room was ready they took us right there. The 2 CM’s showed us the room and let us know about the lounge and other concierge stuff. The room was a great location. Just a few rooms down from the seating area from the lounge. Close, but far away enough too. I looked at Kelly and she had the same look on her face as from her b-day. That look of disbelief. And darn it I think that lump in my throat came back, I couldn‘t believe we were finally here. A few minutes later our luggage was delivered.

Thanks to the Dis I learned that for a deluxe concierge room it was only $10 more a night. It was a no brainer at that point that for an extra $10 I booked the deluxe room.

We stayed at the GF on our honeymoon, but probably will never get there again. But I agree that's it gorgeous. I'd love to stay concierge somewhere one of these days... maybe for our 20th anniversary. That's only 9 years away!

I am a self admitted delux snob. It's all about location for me first of all and I want in door hallways. Not sure I would like GF as much if not in the main building.

Great update and pics, Mo! We stayed at the GF last year for two nights. I liked it, but wasn't overwhelmed. (Though we did not stay Concierge...gotta try that!) Your view is great.
