A very special thank you to all the dissignes for helping to spread some pixie dust! My friend was taking her family, including her 7 year old daugher and 4 year old son to Disney for their first trip. Not only did I share all my disney excitment and travel tips with her, but I offered to do some of the goodies that I had done last summer for her family. As I continued to work on my projects, I did manage to do a few dissigns myself, but could not have done this without all of your great dissigns.

So without further ado, here are some pictures

Each goodie bag had two welcome letter. I choose to place the coupons in the most appropriate welcome letters. This actually is a nod to Alayna, who shared her cute goodie bags. I thought, I needed a way to separate the coupons so that they are not just a pile of coupons.

Thanks so much for posting! As a DISigner it is so exciting to see your own things come to life. I especially love the way that the my Pirate certificate turned out! Everything looks GREAT and I know lots of people will love seeing how your things turned out.

You did a fabulous job! I always love seeing the pictures of everyone's finished projects! :goodvibes

All the goodies in the goodie bags, including JDolly's trip journals! Thanks so much for all your work, I only changed the cover dissign. I did have difficulty trying to figure out how to make Mel's Animal Kingdom Passport foldable and back to back, so I just decided to do this flat, and I think it came out great when binded! All the bindings have a frost cover and back, which makes them appear a bit more polished! Ryland had Toy Story theme, with Toy Story plates and napkins, etc.

Ironically, the passports were the first of these projects. I uploaded two passports to 4 different photobook sites. In an effort, to find the best price, it came down to the wire. Time did get away, and before I knew it, I had to order these books. I ordered them to be shipped to the store, with an arrival date of Mar 30th to Apr 1st. It was close, as I they were leaving Apr 2nd.

Well, as of Friday 2pm, they had not arrived, and the store kept telling me that they would be in Saturday morning. ARRRRRG! They did suggest that I do a one hour book.

So, Friday evening, I tried to do a one hour photobook, only to find that one can do a two page spread, only single pages. Okay, I accepted that. Then, only to learn that one can only have a total of 20 pages. Now, doing the math of 11 countries, a title page and passport page (Thanks to Otterpop), that comes up to at least 24 pages. To say that the staff at the store was helpful or even a little understanding, is an understatement. ('you just have start over'... 'you can put as many pictures in the book as you want'... 'we only get shipments on Monday, Thursdays, and Saturdays').

Well, I was not a happy camper, and terribly disappointed. I ended up printing them on single pages and having the book bind. Not they way that I envisioned this to be, and certainly takes away from beauty of having a passport book. But, all said and done, here are the passports.

Thanks Mel, I couldn't have done this without you and the other dissigners! But, no apologizes needed. I am more than pleased with how well the Animal Kingdom Passport came out. I may even go so far as to say, I like it flat better, as I was able to print it pretty large. I did get a text from my friend yesterday afternoon, saying the gift bags were a hit!

Thanks Dolly for all your creative talents! I couldn't have done this with you and the other dissigners! Yes, I agree the Pirate certificates turned out nicely. Framing them gives them extra piazza! The Dollar Store is a great place to pick up things inexpensively.

Thanks MusicMouse! I think the autograph cover is one of your dissigns. I'm sure I tapped into every one of the dissigners, including Natalie, who if you are out there, a big thank you too! I am impressed with all of the dissigners! You are an awesome group!

I had forgotten a very special thankyou to Scooby for dissigning the Toy Story Welcome on such short notice. She did an amazing job and was so kind and understanding.

In recognizing the dissigners, if you see one of your dissigns, please know that I do appreciate your talent. As I did borrow dissigns here and there to create these goodies.

There are lot of amazing dissigns for tee shirts, which are very popular, but, I have decided not to do tee shirts, as I don't wear them, and I'm not sure my son would be too willing to do the matching tee shirts. I've not had a lot of experience with iron ons, but do find them difficult to do.

And, wish me luck this weekend, as my son and DGD will be visiting. While he initially said yes to returning to WDW this summer, he now says no. However, we do talk about all the fun we had last summer. Now, my DGD, all she wants to do is go back, and if she just happens to say something, well, I'll just tell her to talk to Daddy about this. And, I've already made all of my ADRs/BBB reservations. And, I'm ready to start working on projects for her and our trip!

All the best, Karen

Karen, your bags and cards and autograph books are gorgeous! I can't imagine how much work you put into this project, and I am sure it was greatly appreciated and enjoyed by your friends!!!
It's really fun seeing what you can do!

Thanks Marilyn! It was a lot of work, but nothing compares with the talent of these DISigners! I heard the goodie bags were a big hit and were enjoyed by the whole family. It's so much to do these, and now I can start again as I'm hoping that we go back this summer!

Karen,

You did a fabulous job. I love seeing the end result, as Dolly and Mel have said, and I bet the kids and parents flipped. You're very special to put all that work into making their trip magical. It's more than a little pixie dust! It look like a lot of work and organization!

Way to go! :goodvibes
