Ironically, the passports were the first of these projects. I uploaded two passports to 4 different photobook sites. In an effort, to find the best price, it came down to the wire. Time did get away, and before I knew it, I had to order these books. I ordered them to be shipped to the store, with an arrival date of Mar 30th to Apr 1st. It was close, as I they were leaving Apr 2nd.
Well, as of Friday 2pm, they had not arrived, and the store kept telling me that they would be in Saturday morning. ARRRRRG! They did suggest that I do a one hour book.
So, Friday evening, I tried to do a one hour photobook, only to find that one can do a two page spread, only single pages. Okay, I accepted that. Then, only to learn that one can only have a total of 20 pages. Now, doing the math of 11 countries, a title page and passport page (Thanks to Otterpop), that comes up to at least 24 pages. To say that the staff at the store was helpful or even a little understanding, is an understatement. ('you just have start over'... 'you can put as many pictures in the book as you want'... 'we only get shipments on Monday, Thursdays, and Saturdays').
Well, I was not a happy camper, and terribly disappointed. I ended up printing them on single pages and having the book bind. Not they way that I envisioned this to be, and certainly takes away from beauty of having a passport book. But, all said and done, here are the passports.
