Thanks, but, the Disigners are the real impressive ones, I've never could have done this without them and they are an inspiration for creating the magic and spreading the pixie dust.

You did a fabulous job. I love seeing the end result, as Dolly and Mel have said, and I bet the kids and parents flipped. You're very special to put all that work into making their trip magical. It's more than a little pixie dust! It look like a lot of work and organization!

Thanks for you help Lori. The goodie bags were a big hit and I'll get to chat with my friend today to hear all about their trip! I have finally learned to organize my Disney files on the computer, which has made it a lot easier. And, now I'm starting to work on my trip, well, that is as soon as I get more ink cartridges

Thanks for the kind words. It was my first attempt at snack bags and have to say I really like how they came out. The candy wrappers are fun, but I did use a little glue to hold them in place. I will be lmaking lots of snack bags for our trip this summer.

Yes, this was time consuming, but I've learned how to be better organized. I found these boards last year and managed to do some projects for our first trip to WDW. This is what I have learned to do:

*While looking at the Dissigners thread, photobucket,sharing sites to save ANYTHING that I might want to use.
*Organize my files so that I can easily retrieve the files, ie all coupons are saved as Coupon Mouse Ears, Welcome Letters Mickey, Invitations Ohana, etc
*Have an extra ink cartridge when printing
*Print autograph cards on single 65 lb card stock (uses more paper but do not have to worry about borders)
*Organize one file as Disney Complete for save projects so that names/dates can easily be changed or updated

It's time consuming to look for the disigns that you want. I have spent literally hours going over these boards, learning how to add names, size, print. I do have the advantage of having no obligations to distract me from my projects. Although, work does take a bit of my day! But, I usually work on my projects in the evening and over the weekends.

It's also takes time to print and to cut everything out. I use the local office supply store to cut things, as they have nice cutters with grids, but the time it takes depends on the amount of things you have to cut. I ususally cut things I need binded first, so that they can bind while I cut out the things that do not need binding.

Start on your projects as soon as you can. Last year I only had a month to get things done, which was very busy. This year, as I've already started, I hope to have things done with less rush.

My advice is to start with something you like and can manage. There are so many creative ideas out there, that whatever you do, I'm sure your family will love! Have fun with your creative dissigns.

Thank you for sharing all the pics!! I absolutely LOVE seeing what everyone has made with all the disigns. I am planning on doing something similar for my kids and it is such a great inspiration to see it all laid out and how incredibly awesome it can be. =)

All the goodies in the goodie bags, including JDolly's trip journals! Thanks so much for all your work, I only changed the cover dissign. I did have difficulty trying to figure out how to make Mel's Animal Kingdom Passport foldable and back to back, so I just decided to do this flat, and I think it came out great when binded! All the bindings have a frost cover and back, which makes them appear a bit more polished! Ryland had Toy Story theme, with Toy Story plates and napkins, etc.

Beth, Thanks for the kind words. The Animal Kingdom Passport is done by Mel (Bababear_50). There are pages for signatures and then some pages with questions for them to answer. It's really cute. Although, it is designed to fold in half, I have not mastered the copy both sides of the paper. Therefore, I just enlarged it and made it single pages. Still cute!

I love all the things you made. It gave me a lot of good ideas. I had not seen the candy wrappers or the treat bags labels in use.Thank you for posting the pictures! Now I have to make some for my grandchildren's trip in June 2012.
You could use the blank side of the passport pages to put a photo on using photo tabs or adding a frame around the picture to hold it. It would make for great memories.

So I've decided to make treat bags after seeing yours!

I have a question or two. Are those premade bags that you bought or did you just mix up your own and put them in cellophane bags? Also, do you use glue to attach the tops? I'm worried the hot glue gun would ruin the bag...maybe craft glue?

Glad you decided to do some treat bags, as there are a lot of great dissigns out there. In making these treat bags, I got these cellophane bags at the local craft store, and then I purchased the treats and filled the bags.

When printing the bag toppers, I sized according to the dimensions of the bag. I cut the bag toppers out and folded cellophane bag top twice (this helps to keep the treats fresh) and then stapled the bag toppers on. I think I will take some rubber bands or clips to keep them fresh once they are open. I did use a measuring cup so as to get them 'equal'. (And, counted out the gummy bears). I would be concerned about the glue too.

Ahhhh, grandchildren are so special. And, thanks for the suggestion for the passport. While, I was disappointed, they did come out nice and they certainly enjoyed getting them stamped and signed.
