Hi...I've been looking around the DIS discussion forums, and I see people with a timer in their signature. How do they do that? Is it some kind of special feature? Is it an advanced feature? I know this question is very n00bish and is probably answered in the FAQ, but do you need to do something or be a member for a long time? Because it seems just the old users have it in their signature. Do I need a special kind of software or what? Cheers to vBulletin. Well, at least I've been with vBulletin for years...so I'm not a complete newbie! It's just that I've never seen that before...hmmm...that timer in their signature is a big, strange mystery to me...

I think you just need to go to the Tech Board and follow the instructions there. It's been a while, though.

I've tried to recreate my countdown clock and I keep getting a message about exceeding the 500 word limit. I guess that is still being worked on.

Anyone can have a countdown, it's not just for DIS veterans. :D BUT, no one can ADD a countdown right now, the techs are going to fix it, but for now you can only have 500 characters or less in your sig. I posted my counter on the test board so I still have a link to it atleast. ;)
