We didn’t win at trivia, I think we missed a couple. It was fun anyway, we always enjoy the trivia sessions.
Tonight we were in Tiana’s for dinner with the Mardi Gras menu.
Thankfully Susana was feeling much better and her headache was gone for the most part.
I was glad for her because I couldn’t imagine working in Tiana’s if you had a migraine…THAT would not be fun.
Here’s the brioche bread, always yummy and reminds me of the bread in Royal Palace.
Louis came around and tried to eat my head…haha.
Tonight’s feast consisted of Shrimp and Grits, Ahi Tuna Tartare and Iceberg Wedge.
Scott (or maybe it was me?) tried to get the pepper shot with Susana but it didn’t work out without his fancy camera. This was one of the soups, but I can’t tell which one from the photo. Doesn’t look like tomato but I thought the Seafood pepper pot came in a black serving dish…Anywhooo…..soup and pepper!
We both got the seabass for our entrees.
Sadly the light up dessert menu is a thing of the past and they are now just standard cardboard.
Time for the parade through the dining room.
Lots of fun.
Dessert was the Doberge Gateau and the White Chocolate Bread Pudding. The cake is delicious and I’m not a huge fan of chocolate cake, but I do really like this one.
We managed to get a quick photo with Susana and Putra tonight.
After dinner we decided to go and check out what was going on in Azure. We watched the game show Seriously!, which can be quite funny.
Scott Pepper was the act tonight and he was great. He had some great tricks and was funny as well.
We then switched seats (but I have no clue why now!
) for 80’s Flashback which started at 11:15 pm. I think I’ve figured out that there are two 80’s Flashback games. One is put on earlier, at 10:15 pm or 10:30 pm and involves a lot of audience participation and the other is on later and is much faster and not the same at all. We prefer the first one if we are feeling lively enough to participate, but this evening it was the shorter version, which was just fine with us!
It was about midnight when we made the short walk down to our cabin. Can this relaxing day get any MORE relaxing….why yes! Yes, it can.
So with the knowledge of another lazy day ahead of us we drifted off to sleep enjoying the rocking of the waves in our cozy little world.

We pondered our breakfast choices while watching the waves from the port hole. In the end we nixed Cabanas and settled for some cereal and muffins from room service.

I can tell you right now what the secret is to a flatter stomach....lay on your back.

It started at 1:15 pm and we managed to find a small spot to squeeze into at 1:25 pm. As usual, it was a packed house.

We managed to find all the other adults who had been scarce around the ship today, they were all hiding out here!
We had finished and put our cases out before we went to dinner. Tonight we were in Triton’s and had the Captain’s Gala menu, which was kind of unusual to not have the Til We Meet Again menu, I’m assuming because we missed the Captain’s Gala menu last night being in Tiana’s but I don’t really know.

and managed to get a couple of photographs before it was time for them to get themselves packed up and get out of there, and for us to go to leave them alone!

grocery shopping

Sometimes it is good to stay in those groups after your cruise has ended after all lol

I am in the really active online group for PC, are you?
