Okay! I know, I admit it is early to start a pre-trip report, but I can't help myself. I have been planning this trip since we returned from our trip last April!! So, for the first part of the report I'll introduce the cast!:cool1:

Firstly, there's me, Jen! I just love everything disney, from movies to the parks to the music...EVERYTHING!!! I am a substitute teacher right now and have been for the past 3 years. I am hoping for a term, so I was limited to when I could get back to disney! I was never one of those lucky children that was able to go to disney as a child. Although, I can always remember wishing and praying and entering every contest to win a magical trip to visit Mickey!!:wizard: BUT, no such luck :sad2: I would have to keep dreaming....

That's me on Canada Day!

The next wonderful person that will be joining the cast is my husband Matt. He's a lawyer with legal aid and gets 3 weeks of paid vacation a year, so he is pretty flexible when it comes to dates to pick for visiting. He was one of those lucky people that was able to visit disney as a child, with both of his parents being teachers, they went every year when he was growing up!!! :yay: He enjoys disney just as much as I do!!

That's Matt!! :)

Our History

Matt & I met at university, he was in his 4th year and I was in my 1st :) We met in January 2001 and have been together ever since  We went through school together, and when he got into law school I transfered so we could still be together! We were married on May 7th, 2005 and it was the best day of my life!!!

It was even better when his parents told us months before our wedding that they would pay for our honeymoon or give us money and before Matt finished saying honeymoon, I was jumping (literally...yes I starting jumping!!) on the bed, screaming.."I am going to DISNEY WORLD!!!!!":dance3: I was so excited..so the countdown began and on May 8th, 2005, I was finally able to say that I have been to WALT DISNEY WORLD!!! We went for a week and the crowds weren't too bad and I was able to see a lot!

Our next trip wouldn't be for another 2 years :( April 2007...we got a really good deal on tickets, hotel, car and flight and decided last minute that we would go for Easter! It was a lot of fun, but very busy! The trip was also only for a week, and I wasn't able to see/do everything that I wanted this time :(

NOW...onto this trip!! We decided this year that we would go for 2 weeks!! Yes, 2 wonderful weeks full of disney and to make it even better, we are staying onsite for the first time and going with the dining plan!!! We already booked our airline tickets, July 5-19th we will be there! I will also be celebrating my 27th birthday on July 15th!! What could be better, my birthday at disney world!! Now, we are booking our room and package next month and are thinking of staying at POP Century with 10 day PH, WP & More package! I have been busy with the DDP ADR's and have found out that Jan. 6th is my 180 day mark to book! :cheer2: So let the planning begin!!

Up Next will be possible ADR's!!!

Thanks for Reading :dance3: :yay: :woohoo:

What a cute couple...

You will have a blast there for your birthday....

As you can see it is never to early to start a report.

Thanks for posting!! I had a feeling that no would would mind me starting a pre-trip report this early...hey 8 months will fly by!! Before I know it, I'll be at my 180 day mark and have to make my ADR's....

Next Update coming soon I promise!!

Okay disney lovers, I have a problem!!!:confused3 I can't decide if DH & I should do the DDP or not!! At first I thought that it was the best thing, but since we are going for 2 weeks I am thinking it'll be ALOT of food!! I do have the restuarants where I would like to eat, but then again I would also like the flexibility of coming and going as we please. I don't know if I would like having to make ressies for all of our dinners and having to be somewhere at a certain time! Both other times we went we only ate at CS places and we were full from that...as much as I love dessert, I don't know if I can imagine having it after every dinner for 2 solid weeks!!! HELP!!! Here is a list of the places I would like to eat :

1.Chef Mickeys(Breakfast & Dinner)
2.Crystal Palace
3.Kona Cafe
4.Le Cellier
5.Sci Fi
6.Chef de France
7.Boma
8.50's Prime Time(Thinking of OOP)
9.1900 Park Fare
10.Aloha Dinner Show(2TS)
11.Concourse Steakhouse
12.Coral Reef
13.Somewhere special for my 27th Birthday...?

So should I or shouldn't I Disney Dine or Not??

Not too much planning has been taking place because I have been really busy with work and now Christmas coming!! Here are a few pictures of our Christmas Decorations and I also still need ADR advice since my ADR's are going to be made very soon (January 7th, 2008!!)

Okay, so it is just me here :( No one seems to be posting, but I will keep on trucking! Maybe come the new year I'll have more people here! :goodvibes Anyways, does anyone have any idea on transporation off-site while staying onsite? DH & I want to go to Ikea and the FL Mall on one day but we have no idea on how to get there. Suggestions would be great!!

Thanks :rolleyes1

I'm really enjoying your pre-trippie. Keep it up. We're not headed back until next October, but (like you) I've got so much I want to say about this trip (and our last trips) that I may start a pre-trippie a whole 9 months early.

Hi

I am enjoying your pre trippie. We are going to the World end of May 2008 and I have just started my pre trippe!

On our first visit to Orlando we visited the Florida Mall, we were at Prime Outlets and decided to go from there, we got the bus and it took about an hour. We got a taxi back and I think it was about $40.

Yahoo!! Some people!! Anyways, it's funny how things change when you start planning a trip so far in advance!! DH & I decided since we forked out $2200 on an awesome treadmill (to get in shape for our disney trip) is that we are going to stay offsite and save ourselves close to (if not more than) $1000!! This way we will be getting a rental car, so I will be able to get around to some other Orlando stops and we are still going to get the 10 day PH WP and More tickets. The only downside is that we will not be able to get the DDP, which I was really looking foward to!! Although, DH & I agreed that we are going to try and eat at 3 TS places...Le Cellier, Chef Mickeys and some where fopr my 27th birthday!! More to come :)

Okay so plans are updated. DH & I decided that we WILL be staying offsite! We are going to be saving a ton of money and I know one day I will be staying onsite, I have many more disney trips to plan in the future :wizard: Anyways, we are thinking Holiday Inn Maingate East, the place has gotten great reviews and it was recently updated in 2007! Plus we can get an amazing rate for the 2 weeks! (Once we actually book I will post our rate!!)Now I am trying to decide what malls we are going to do on our "non-disney" days. We are only getting 10 PH WP& More tickets, so we are going to have 2 non disney days...I know I have to get to ikea, since we don't have one near us!! I also want to get to The Mall of Millenia...upscale, luxury stores...ohhh :worship: Although, I have a feeling I won't be leaving there with a pair of Jimmy Choo's or a handbag by Louis Vuitton :cloud9: It'll just be nice to look around, the only store I may actually buy something from would be Crate & Barrel or Pottery Barn Bed & Bath...:thumbsup2

I am also thinking of eating at Le Cellier for my birthday..hopefully!:rolleyes1 I will just have to keep my fingers crossed that I will be able to get the ADR on that day...but I do have back-ups just in case...Yak & Yeti, Kona Cafe, Chef de France are those!!

That's all for now- have a disney magicial day :)

I'm joining your PTR!! We are going in Oct as well, and I am just waiting patiently to start my PTR!!! I agree it is amazing how much changes, especially when you document it all!! We were originally going to stay at the Sheritan Safari in LBV, but changed to POP and then to ASMu. (Staying there unless I win some sort of lottery!! LOL) Looking forward to reading more!!

Okay well I am very excited! I just booked 2 ADR's for my upcoming trip..
Chef Mickey's- July 11 at 8:20am
Le Cellier- July 12 at 7pm

Now I want Le Cellier for the 15th but since I had her on the phone I wanted to be sure I would get Le Cellier for the trip and I did!! I am getting pretty excited now! At least this way I know that I will be eating at 2 disney TS restuarants!! WaHoo!!

Just called and I got Le Cellier for July 15 at 7pm...I didn't have the heart to cancel my 12th just yet..I still might wanna eat ther twice :) lol
