A very good week!

11 months and 1 week....That's how long DBF was unemployed. He was offered a job today and he starts on Wednesday. And he'll be making more money than before he was laid off.

Oh and some more good news, even better news actually.

On October 5th my step-dad underwent an esophogectomy for esophageal cancer. Follow-up with the doctor yesterday reveals that they got all of it! He is cancer-free. After many months of chemo and very major invasive surgery, he went from Stage III to cancer-free. There is still a way to go with his recovery but there is no more cancer!

It has been a most excellent week around here.
