Good Morning!

Is it just meet or does this week feel like it's flying by? Usually before a trip I feel like my week drags, but today is already my last day of work for 1 1/2 weeks!

I got an update on my car. The damage is fixable! It's about $6000 worth of damages (which we don't have to pay for! ) and it should be done in 3 weeks at the most. Thank goodness it wasn't totaled because I really like my car. It's noting fancy (a 2008 Mazda 3) but I have just gotten so used to it and I love it. it never gives me any problems.

That's great news on the car! And I think Mazda 3's are really nice! I actually had my heart set on getting one when I was looking for a car last year....until I drove the Mitsubishi Lancer, lol. That was the car I just HAD to have. Also great news that you only have one more day of work. That's gotta feel real nice!

Just over 2 weeks until we leave! Getting so excited. I wanna start packing, but I don't know what to pack that we won't need to use by then. I've already started charging camera batteries, but that's about all I've done so far.

Ok I just remembered, I had a dream about DLR and I had to post it.

I remember I was alone and walking around the parks when I passed by the Matterhorn, but it looked kinda different. Anyway, I saw two girls getting on the bobsleds, which were now orange/yellow. I walked up the the CM operating the ride and asked if it was open. She said that they were doing a sort of soft opening/ride testing. So I asked if I could get on and she said ok. I sat in the front of one bobsled which in these new ones, the front seat had two side by side seats with a fake steering wheel on either side. It totally didn't look right. It kinda reminded me of the monorail the way the new bobsled was designed. Like imagine the monorail with no top, like a convertible monorail, and that's what the bobsleds looked like.

So I got on and the CM wanted to give me a survey too so she also got in. And I guess we rode it because next thing I remember is getting off and seeing a HUGE line to ride the Matterhorn. And I remember thinking "wow a soft opening this far in advanced??" Because the Matterhorn in real life is gonna be down until Sept right, or late Aug?

Then I remember the next thing I thought was "OMG I have to tell everyone on the DIS that the Matterhorn is doing a soft opening!!" but for some reason I kept getting distracted or something kept happening to prevent me from getting on the DIS to tell people.

And that's the end! Weird, but I guess I am just excited for next week!

Ouch Jilliian.....glad the insurance will take care of the car repair bill......my son rolled our SUV when they hit ice & there wasn't a piece of metal not torn, scraped or missing when it was done....thank God Mike & him walked away unhurt!! We didn't have full coverage & it killed me to see it towed away.....forever!! So I understand having an attachment to a vehicle......like an old friend!

Andrea.....stress is probably right.....finances are really tight & we've paid bills but its leaving us with nothing for anything else....sucks to live paycheck to paycheck & only making it one or two days of that week & then looking at an empty pantry & gas tank......sucks bad!!! Thursdays are becoming my favorite day of the week......lol

Sounds like you're making up for not being able to ride it on your trip that you're just dreaming about riding it!

I had a dream the other night that I was trying to call Dillon on my iPhone for whatever reason, but for some reason it just wasn't happening. Whether something kept distracting me, or my fingers just wouldn't work properly to dial the numbers, but I remember trying to do it several times and getting mad cause I couldn't, lol.

Laurie, lucky your son wasn't injured! Glad to hear that!

I know what living pay check to pay check is like. We do it too. But it's mostly our fault cause we aren't good at saving money. If there's $20 sitting there with nowhere to go, it eats at me until I find somewhere for it to go, instead of the savings account where it should go. I really need to stop doing that!

I hope you guys get your check soon so you can stop worrying!

OK, I have an iPhone question for anyone who wants to answer. How on earth can I save our WiFi password so I don't have to put it in every single stinking time? I keep forgetting and I'd rather use the WiFi than the darn 3G. This is the last residual problem from last night. I never had a problem before but when she changed it all around last night I don't know what happened.

I have a gift certificate for a restaurant at the Fairmont (the fanciest hotel in suburbia-San Jose) that expires today. It's a lunch for 2, I meant to use it as date for DH and I, but oh well - gonna drag DD7 along. We'll see how it goes

It should ask you if you want it to remember when you enter the password, shouldn't it? It's been so long since I've had to do it that I don't remember. I am looking around on it now, and I don't see anywhere else where you would have to do it.

Usually gift certificates don't expire, and I don't think they should. It's money that someone paid. It sucks when they do though. Hopefully you have a good lunch!

I've always had the settings on for WiFi but right now ever time I put my phone "to sleep" and then go to use it again it wont connect to our WiFi automatically so I ahve to go in, select it, and type in our passowrd again. It's driving me up the wall and I keep forgetting because I'm so used to just grabbing my phone and opening the browser or Facebook or whatever without really thinking about it. Plus the passowrd is a total pain and I can't remember it on my own.

Go into it, and hit "Forget This Network" at the top of the screen.

No problem! Also, restarting your phone will often work wonders for issues like this as well.

I tried restarting it yesterday but that didn't work. I've got t get out of the house today so the real test will be when I come back, if it recognizes the network or not.
