OK, so my family is watching My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. It's kind of scary!

I couldn't do a big wedding.

That's what most weddings are. Ours was simple I wore a simple dress that I loved. We got married outside in the heat of Carson City, Nevada with a handful of loved ones.

I saw that on earlier. My TV was already on TLC, so I watched it for a few seconds, and then changed it to Toy Story 2

Yeah, I couldn't take it for long, so went to watch the Giants play. Alright, I am off to get coffee and then find my boss at work with my fingers crossed that everything goes alright. Buuuut, as a pick me up I totally put A Very Potter Musical on my iPhone so I would listen-watch at work. I'm in full-fledged-obsession-mode right now.

Morning everyone! My night was so not fun last night. I had 3 patients calling for something at the same time plus an admission! I can only be in one place at a time!

It calmed down for the second half but I thought I was going to go nuts the first few hours!

Morning everyone!!!

Pretty quiet morning for my house.....kids playing out back before it gets too hot to be out there. We're supposed to hit upper 80's but our backyard faces the back of a bunch of stores......so lots of blacktop, tar roofs & no shade. Needless to say.....our backyard is usually 15-20 degrees hotter than the actual temp. (doesn't help out our 2 story un-air conditioned home either). I love the hot weather.....but not in the current home we're in!!!

Trying to plan a BBQ fundraiser for our Autism Speaks walk......I know we could pull it off......but worried we wouldn't have very many people show up.....so lots of work for not much of a payoff. We'll see.........

For those on FB with me.....sorry about all the pleas for donations.....but it's the only place I can seek support.

Oh Jillian I am so glad to hear that. I know you must have been really stressed over it. I remember when I wrecked my dad's 1965 Mustang. Oh my, I did not want to tell him and it was my fault.

Yeah it was really stressing me out! But I guess their relaxing weekend put them in a good state of mind, while I am here, walking to work in the heat, in the dark, and stressing over how they will react. But I am glad it's all done with. Just gotta wait on word from the insurance people and auto body shop.

So, anyone doing anything fun today?

One thing that was so nice for me when I was hit in 2006 was that Geico did everything. I called them the day of the accident, they arranged the shop and had a rental car arranged and I was in it the day that my van went into the shop. One really cool thing was that I could keep track of what was going on with my van the whole time it was in the shop. They posted photos on Geico for me to access including the parts as they came in. That all made a difficult situation that much easier to deal with .

Paula, I hope you can get some more sleep! 3.5 hours isn't much at all. I usually need 7-8 to function enough for a full shift at work.

Jillian, so glad to hear your parents didn't freak out. Maybe their mini vacation helped!

Does anyone know how the fast passes work for WOC these days? We want to try and see it again, but don't want to pay for the meals. Do you still have to go there first thing in the morning to get a good chance of seeing the show? Where do you go to get the FP? I would look through the Superthread, but that seems like a lot of work at the moment, lol. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

I don't think you need to be there right at opening, but I would suggest getting them in the morning if you want the first show of the evening.....if you don't care.....then you could wait & get them later in the day. Part of this depends on how busy the parks are when you're there. I know there's a huge group that enter from the GCH & go straight to the FP machines (located at GRR).

I've never done the show with these FP's, so have no clue where the best area is to watch from (color coded). We did the picnic once & I'll spend the money at Ariel's Grotto for the dinner to get the best view in the preferred dining section.....but that's just me!!
