It's going. Long day at work. A little bummed at my Disney store regarding their trading, but so excited that they're doing it at all. Other than that I'm just sleepy.

How goes it?

What's up with the trading? I forgot to give my store a call to see if they are doing anything.

Hope the weather works out for your sister! I would love to have an outdoor wedding, but I would be really nervous about the weather. It's too finicky to plan around it. Even if the forecast says it's going to be nice tomorrow, half the time it's wrong.

It's supposed to be the clear trading box just like at the Parks. There will be 3 traders inside and you can swap for one (can't be a duplicate of one that's already in there). I went at the store opening on my lunch break and I was hoping that they might possibly have something nice for the first trader, lol. But to start off, the opener didn't even have it set up. And from what I'm hearing from other stores they were taking brand new figures out of the boxes to use. But the lady at my store said she was taking them from the bag they tossed a bunch into for their unofficial trading they were already doing. I'm glad they'll still be trading and hopefully someday I'll find something I want, but when I heard from other traders that they got a real random selection to start off with it's a bummer.
 
So it looks like as soon as I get back from Disneyland I will have to send my laptop back in again.... Just when I was hoping to be able to work on my TR when it was fresh in my mind!
 
Thats kind of dumb, but like you said, at least they do trading at all.

And good news!! I just called my store and they just started trading today!!! Yay!! It sounds like yours where they have three to pick from.
 

That's a real bummer. Did they just say they fixed it and didn't? Or could they not find the problem?

They said they just replaced the ac adapter thinking that was the issue. If it was an AC adapter issue I would just have sent that in.

I told them numerous times it was where the AC adapter connects to the laptop that is cracked.... and it is visably cracked! The AC adapter works but it doesn't stay in tight so it is very annoying. I have to keep checking that it is working...
 
Waiting on pins and needles! I'm supposed to hear back today if I go on to background. The background orientation is Monday 6/6. Prayers and :goodvibes please!! :flower3:

Those people at those places seem to never know what they are doing. I've had similar things happen to me in the past. Why can't they just look over the whole thing and make sure everything is looking ok instead of the one thing they "think" you are concerned about?

I am very ticked off! I can't beleive that they would just ignore the issue. And then the tech on the phone was like if you send it in right away you will get it back on time for your trip. I said no... Its tuesday today I will get the label Wednesday which is the same day I sent it out last week and I rec'd it back today. So no holiday next week means it would get here Monday... my flight is in the am though so no way FedEx will have it back by then. I had to explain that like 3 times!

I am ok. Lots of uncomfortable pains as I sit at the salon waiting for Dillon to get his hair cut, but I am not getting my hopes up yet as I seem to get this way eveytime I am out. Sigh.

I have extra memory cards but if I use my Flip Video Camera that only downloads onto my laptop and last time I ran out of room...

Plus I am there for 10 days I am sure I will use my laptop at least a little during that time!:goodvibes

Good point. You know how you were talking about getting hubby a new one? Well.......:rotfl: It would only be a test drive for it as it were.

Yeah I can't afford a new one right now. Mine is only 1 year old its just got cheap plastic pieces that are breaking!

Darn! I know what you mean though, kind of a crazy expense right before the big trip.

And definitely an un-needed expense as my laptop has a full warranty. They were just idiots! Oh-well it seems to be working okay for now and since I won't be using it a ton it should be fine on the trip.

I sure hope so!! I would be so mad at HP right now.
