That's the way I am with Yosemite. I guess there is a glass train or something that you ride in to Denali. I just think that cruise sounds so nice to me. That is what I think we are going to do instead of WDW. We will do WDW another time, the cruise just sounds amazing to me.

Michele, I think you will really enjoy the cruise. WDW will always be there. Mickey will wait for you!:goodvibes

And I can meet you if you have the time.

Jon finally got home and we just ate, I am happy.

Good evening everyone! Michelle, the Alaska cruise sounds fabulous. It's one I'ld like to go on, but I'll have to wait a while for it. I'm thinking it's something we'll do in about 5 years when Little Monkey isn't so little anymore. By the way, thanks for the advise on the potty training. I was hoping he would just start doing it on his own like his big sis did. Two weeks ago I got fed up with diapers and had him in undies only. It took a couple days for him to realize that he no longer gets to wear diapers and I wasn't going to put them on him if he went number 2 in his undies. We are on week two of no "accidents" in the undies. As for WDW, I'll be sure to take some good pictures and we'll bring Boo so there will be some new pics for the Duffy thread.:thumbsup2

Hey Chrissie

On the other thread, did you say that your DH loves flying RC Planes? That must be neat for your husband to do something that he loves and gets paid to do.

How u been Kirsten?

Right, if you go with the cruise trip I bet you will have a great time. :)

Thank you I think so too.

It would be great to meet you. I just found a Princess cruise that leaves from San Francisco, and we can add Denali to it. That to me seems perfect.

Oh that's great about the potty training. I look forward to your pictures, especially the Boo ones.:goodvibes

He has been into RC Planes for quite a few years. They keep getting bigger and more exspensive as the years go by. He enjoys being at the Hobby Shop and talking with people. He does it three nights a week. It pays for his hobby, so I don't complain. And all the guys he works with there are great. I never realized how serious these guys were about thier gaming. They build entire Armies, and do a wonderful job at painting them and making them look perfect.

My son has many Yu Gi Oh cards from when he was very young. I know some of them must be 10 years old if not more. He has them in a album and has kept them.

Just taking a moment to proove I'm still alive ...

SHARKS BEAT DETROIT!!! Heck yeah, I'm excited.

Hope you're all well ;)

Jessica, I am happy for you. but I must be honest, I have never watched a hockey game in my life. Odd, because my brothers played, and they both love it.:confused3

RC Planes are very neat and I did enjoy it when I was young. But I just couldn't afford to do that kind of hobby then playing Yu Gi Oh. My DC has a lot of RC cars and boats, but he has never done planes since he is not interested in that. I bet that Hobby store would be a great place to stop at.

That is nice to hear that your son collects Yu-Gi-Oh cards. I don't know too many people that would say that there kids like Yu-Gi-Oh TCG. The games is almost 10 years old in America while it is over 10 years old in Japan as OCG (Official Card Game) which they call it in Japan. Do your son still collects Yu-Gi-Oh cards?

Wow, the Sharks have won the game and avoided being the 4th team in NHL history to win the first 3 games and lose the next 4 games in a 7-game series. They do struggle during the playoffs the last few years after having great success in the regular season the past couple of years. I hope they go all the way to the Stanley Cup and win it all, but they have to get past a very good team in Vancouver.

I think if there were tournaments in our area he would have stayed interested.
He does not collect them now, but he has kept all of his Pokemon and Yu Gi Oh cards from years ago. He still looks at them from time to time and talks about them fondly.

It starts in Vancouver, sails to Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Juneau, Skagway, Hubbard Glacier, Seward and then you start the land portion. Anchorage, Talkeetna, Denali, and then you go back. There is time spent in those places. It is a 10 night cruise.

I live in Juneau...if you do a cruise, I can let you know what the weather is like. We do live in a rainforest, so we get a lot of rain.

I see. There are a lot of stores in California that does tournament, if he lived out here he would be interested in the game and they are fun to play in. That is common for almost any player that collects cards and then more and more new cards are being made. To be a very competitive player in Yu Gi Oh, you need to put a lot of effort in the game and have the cards. There are Yu Gi Oh cards that can be up to $500+ for a single card.

I'm good, Brett, thanks for asking. How are you?

It's Friday!!! Hubby is working some major OT today, said he won't be home until midnight or 1am. DD is going to her fathers (I think, I haven't heard from him yet). If she's staying with us this weekend, I'll take the kids out for pizza. If it's just LM and me, I'll get some Papa Murphy's take and bake pizza.

It's already 11am. I've been holding off on my workout, it's my least favorite (yoga). I need to get off the comuter.:surfweb:

Ooh thank you. What is the weather like in August, September and October? I am torn between those months.

Hello! How is everyone doing? Glad to see that Jessica came on so we know she is alive!

Also find it funny about the baby poll. I would be happy with May 21st! That's only a little over a week away. I can handle that. Wow....that's a little hard to believe too.....

I am tempted to go and re-join twitter. Seether has posted their entire new album that's not out until Tuesday on there today. Wanna go listen!

I am on twitter. I love my twitter, I use it to rant and rave. Also it is a great way to make friends.

Michelle, I'm not sure about Juneau weather. But, in Anchorage August is are rainy month and September it is getting cold outside, and October you may see snow. I would say late August or early September would be your best bet. Have you thought of June or July. That would be perfect weather, and Denali Park would still be open.

The was considering June and July and now they are higher up the list. Denali is really high on the list. It is something that we both have always wanted to see. Thank you, I appreciate this.
