Yeah... the guy at fry's thought this one would work but he even said make sure it charged the battery so I think he had a feeling it wouldn't work...

Now I have to be VERY careful not to unplug my laptop or it will power off immediately! Bummer

I think you're right about that. If anyone would have a cord that would work it is Fry's. I wish we had a Fry's here.

Have you tried looking on eBay for the right cord Paula? That's where I went for mine and ended up getting it a little cheaper than at any store.

My hubby dies most of it but I have the lucky part of doing the trim work.

My screen seems a lot bigger now with the new FF. Which is nice, because my little netbook doesn't have that big of a screen to begin with. It really sucks on the picture thread sometimes, cause I can't ever see the whole picture when someone posts a big one.

I use Ctrl - to make everything smaller so I can see pics if people posted them too big to fit in my window... of course it makes the text too small as well!

On the good news I got the AC Adapter to charge my battery... I think... it says charging but still 0%!

There was a switch on the back to adjust the voltage... changed that and now it at least says charging... we will see!
