Wow $4 tank tops and $3 tees? I should really check it out.
Thanks for the link. I'm on my phone now but I'll be sure to look at it as soon as our wifi is working again. It's been crashing all day!
Have fun at the movies :)

It was a blast!!

Hey guys!

So we just got back from the Smurfs movie, and just wanted to say that it's soooo cute! I loved it. It's kinda sappy in some parts with trying to teach important messages to kids and whatnot, but it was well done! Can't wait to see it again. Still don't really think 3D is all that great though. Not worth $3 more each.

There was also a preview for the new Puss & Boots movie (cat from Shrek) and it looks really cute as well.

I saw that preview too. It looks great but I would go see it no matter what. I love Antonio Banderas!!

We went to the drive in at a 6 screen drive in. We saw Harry Potter and Cars 2. I did not expect anything from Cars 2 so I was not disappointed. As a matter of fact it was kind of cute.

One thing that was fun tonight was the six screens. We had the sound from our movie and were able to watch two other screens that made for some really funny scenes. I recommend a drive in movie all the way!!

We don't have drive ins here any more. The one last one we did have in calgary got burned down years ago when an oil plant close to it exploded. :(

They had a temporary one last weekend in Red Deer here that was playing my favorite movie of all time, Ghostbusters, but we had that wedding so couldn't go.

Sounds like you got some well deserved adult time away from Seth. Glad you enjoyed yourself :) I agree with the 3D thing. Was there no regular 2D version of the Smurfs playing?

Glad to hear you had such a great time! :thumbsup2

Good morning everyone!
Today I am going with my friend to pick up our rental car for the trip! :cool1: I do have a rental through my insurance but my car could be ready at any time. So if it's ready when I am gone my parents will pick it up and return the rental. And this way my friend will most likely drive most of the time since the rental car for the trip will be under her name. She actually likes to be the driver so it works out! I'm also gonna be put on there as an alternate driver so that way we can switch out if she wants to.

The only option to see the 2D was if we were to go at 1:10 in the afternoon. The theatre planned that one out well! Great marketing skills, lol.

Your trip is so close! Tomorrow!!! I hope you have a great time!

Glad you enjoyed the movie Andrea! But didn't they have a regular 2D option you could do instead of 3D? I have yet to really see a movie that didn't give the audience the option. That would be pretty horrible planning since a lot of people can't do 3D period. I know my theatre has both.

If my mom wakes up early enough today I'm taking her to see Crazy, Stupid, Love as kind of an early birthday treat. They leave for Vegas on Tuesday, her birthday is on Wednesday, and I wont see her that much in between because of my work schedule and her need to pack. Phooey.

Morning everyone.

Lol, that explains why you asked the question I just answered!

That looks like a good movie. I want to see Friends with Benefits too.

I went and saw Friends With Benefits with Nameless earlier this week. We both really like it! With that said though, I find it strange to watch Justin Timberlake in movies. I haven't gotten used to it yet. I was sooo in love wth him when I was younger.

I didn't really like him until he started doing solo stuff. Wasn't a huge NSync fan. Even though I liked one or two of their songs, I was a Backstreet Boys fan back then so to me they were just copying, lol. But I've liked him a lot in the past few years or so. It is still weird seeing him in movies. First movie I saw him in was I think Alpha Dog, and that was just an intense movie.

Haha, now I'm thinking back to my days in junior high. Oddly enough, I was a bigger NSYNC fan - yet the only concert I ever went to was for BSB. But yeah, I was obsessed with Justin. You should have seen my room :rotfl:

BF was just too much for me. I didn't like that feeling of being needed ALL the time. And pumping was a pain. I'd have to pump for 30 mins, then feed him for another 30. I was getting too overwhelmed by all that and was hating feedings. Plus, it hurts! I think the women who stick to it are very brave and tough!
I was pretty determined :rotfl: Plus I admit that I hated the thought of spending all that money on formula, we were already spending enough on diapers :laughing:

We finally got it cleaned up and it can now be swam in!
Sweet!:thumbsup2

Haha they are like stickers basically that look like nail polish that you just stick on your nail and trim and shape it to match right. But they are thin so once it's on it looks like polish. And it lasts forever! My sister had some on for over two weeks without a chip or a scratch. They are pretty neat. Now only if they made them in Disney patterns...
Those are so cute! I agree with you if they had Disney patterns ... :lovestruc I find they don't last super long on me though :rolleyes1 That's the way it is for me with any kind of nail stuff that isn't the hardened gel/acrylic coating you get at the nail salon, though. I got this Groupon a couple of weeks ago for a salon that does that gel shellac-manicure thing, I want to try that out soon.

Still don't really think 3D is all that great though. Not worth $3 more each.
I agree, they stick 3D on *every* movie lately just to get a few more bucks out of you. I purposely go the the 2d version as a protest ;)

wooo!!!!

Yeah I had BSB all over my room too, even on the ceiling! I used to get those BOP magazines all the time with the posters in them, lol. Then it got covered up by Oasis.

I usually boycott 3D too. But I had been waiting for over a year to see The Smurfs, and didn't want to wait one more day to see it, lol. Having it show only once a day in 2D is really dumb!

Yesterday afternoon took DD7 and DD15 to a local semi-famous festival, the Gilroy Garlic Festival.

We know a guy who works there, so he got us in for free and gave us a Gourmet Alley food and drink tickets. We got garlic crab fries, key lime calamari, cheesesteak sandwiches, and garlic chocolate ice cream (you can barely taste the garlic in that one ... and you already have garlic mouth from all the other food :rotfl:)

Listening to Spotify this morning and London Pops does disney "Part of your world" came on ... I just love the album artwork:

Ok, speaking of Oasis...the genius behind the band that is Noel Gallagher has a solo album coming out, and it sounds just like my beloved favourite band. Proof he was the brains behind the operation.

I can't stop listening to his new song: The Death of You and Me

That's a lot of garlic Tania! Not sure about the garlic ice cream. And that's a cool cover.

What's the Story Morning Glory was recently released when I spent a summer in the UK ... everytime I hear a song from that album it immediately takes me back there!

Haha, excuse me while I go crash at Paula's for the summer :rotfl:

Hey Jillian!!

Come and crash! Well I should probably find out from my MIL since it is her house :rotfl2:
