A Very Chit-Chat Thread

I am good. I took Kody school shopping earlier and that girl is a great shopper. I don't know if you have ever been to Rue 21 but we made out like bandits. Tonight we are going to go to the Drive In and watch a double feature of Cars 2 and HP tonight. What an interesting mixture huh?

Good Afternoon everyone....

So I am going to go for a swim in a little bit!!

We have a pool in our backyard but the entire time I've lived here it has not been swimable. I used to refer to it as the "swamp"

We finally got it cleaned up and it can now be swam in! Hubby and MIL went for a dip yesterday but I was taking a nap so this will be my first time. Then of course I will be going to sleep as I work the next 5 days in a row.

A cooling swim sounds nice.

Man I am so jealous, Paula! We don't have a pool and I don't have on available to me period and it's the pits!! Man life would be great today if I could go sunbathe by the water (and swim too).

Michele, can't say I have ever even heard of Rue 21 and as for the 2 movies at the drive in ... makes sense to me considering they were released relatively close together.

I was afraid the pool would be freezing because we don't have a heater or it but its pretty refreshing... at least thats what my toes have told me when I put them in!

We don't have any loungers yet... Just some beach chairs I think. The area around the pool isn't very large so not much room for a lot of stuff.

I was really impressed today. We spent $85 and change on 10 shirts, 2 pairs of shoes, make up, 7 pairs of sock, and two hair decorations.


I love the idea of a going to the drive in. We are going to go to Sacramento to see the movies and it is only $6.95 a person and I thought that was a good deal.

That's what the ground is for, lol. I'll be honest - I have never been able to stand laying/sitting/whatever in those lounge chairs. Give me a towel and enough space for my body and I am good to go.

Hi Jillian!! Kody is the good bargain finder. She is 17 and picks out her own clothes. I was amazed at her. Rue 21 is a cute boutique kind of junior store for guys and girls. You should check them out. They had cute tank tops for $4 a piece and t-shirts on a table for $3 a piece and they were a style she loves. She got some knock off Tom's shoes style shoes.

So I finally got my nails the way I wanted! I bought this top coat that's supposed to sae and dry your color super fast and it actually worked! I was pretty surprised how fast everything dried. Now I think I want some ice cream. I always crave ice cream after I eat a meal containing a lot of meat.

Even better!! I am trying to decide when I'm going to get mine done. I wont even try to do it myself though, or maybe it's just my small way of feeling "pampered" for just a minute. What color did you do?

I have those nail strips form Sally Hansen (which are amazing) that are a sort of lace pattern, which I put on my ring and pinky finger, and the others are black. I like how it looks
When I do my nails or get them done I either have super bright purples or pinks or I go the totally opposite and do black or dark dark red or something. Last time I did them they were pink and glittery, so this time I guess I was more in a black mood.

Haha they are like stickers basically that look like nail polish that you just stick on your nail and trim and shape it to match right. But they are thin so once it's on it looks like polish. And it lasts forever! My sister had some on for over two weeks without a chip or a scratch. They are pretty neat. Now only if they made them in Disney patterns...

Hey guys!

So we just got back from the Smurfs movie, and just wanted to say that it's soooo cute! I loved it. It's kinda sappy in some parts with trying to teach important messages to kids and whatnot, but it was well done! Can't wait to see it again. Still don't really think 3D is all that great though. Not worth $3 more each.

There was also a preview for the new Puss & Boots movie (cat from Shrek) and it looks really cute as well.
