In addition to the report I thought I would post a video for each section of the holiday as well.
Here's the New York part.

New York

I might even include Matt and I making ourselves look prats at the Adventurers Club in the WDW bit. If you're bad, I'll put it in twice!

Oooh, I enjoyed that! :thumbsup2

It took me back to DD's and my trip last October - now I want to go back even more!

ooh...Ryan Adams...very nice choice!

Good job on the video as well...

That was really good Kev - must have taken a while to edit all that. It was nice to see all of New York.

When we went to New York it snowed so we have not had the opportunity to see all of the area, so it was nice to see it in your video.

Kevin,
Your video is lovely, made especially so by the Uptown girls you got to model for you throughout.

Didn't think you could make your reports any better, but you did!!:cool1:
Thanks for the video. Can't wait to see more.

That is a brilliant video - i really enjoyed seeing NY.

Looking forward to more reports.

That was excellent. Reminded me when we went last March. I so want to go back.

Thank you for your video, you are so clever, I cant even put a photo on my report!! As everyone else says we all look so forward to your annual trippie, thank you for letting us be part of your holiday.

And that log cabin??? How did you find it?

Cant wait for day 7...

cheers,

Well, we wanted to stay somewhere close to the Blue Ridge Parkway as Deb and Matt had told us about it. Tam then decided she wanted to stay somewhere by a lake. After that it was just a question of trawling the internet until we found somewhere we (or mre accuratley - Tam) liked.

Lovely to see your video, Kev & Tammy. You really covered a lot in the time you were in New York!

Thanks for posting that Mr. S - very enjoyable

We will be flying up to NY during our October visit to WDW, and this has further whetted our appitite. I doubt we can take comparble pictures with our box brownie though! (I mean the camera, not some form of child labour).:thumbsup2

Thought that you would include an image of yourselves in the 'illustrious guests' section! :cool1:

Incidently, and completely off topic, can I say how impressed I am with Tammy and the girls posture! Normally people slouch all over the place. I can't comment on your posture as you don't appear in this magnum opus, but imagine you to have an erect, possibly even Victorian, bearing (with knuckles dragging on the ground?)!:lmao:

cheers

I'm always surprised at the number of people who mention my posture as the first thing they notice. 'Never mind the Hooters shirt and false nose, hasn't that man got wonderful posture?' they say.

The girls have no option but to stand straight, they have steel bars down the back of their clothes.

realy enjoyed that Kev, a good taster of New York. Got to comment on the log cabin, bold man, Jules has been trawling the internet this morning, cos she wants to do that now ! I am sure she will be picking your brains

Why thank you for noticing Rob - my mother went to ballet school and always told us to sit up/stand up straight, shoulders back etc. etc. I of course now nag the girls to do the same - but at least I can say "See people do notice good posture"

As an aside when are you going to grace us with your presence at a DIS meet - can you not manage the Bristol one in a weeks time? It would be great to meet you in person and of course Dopey!
