His stage was on a giant turntable. So when the Statue was to disappear, they simply rotated the stage, and when the curtains opened, everyone was looking at a blank part of the bay.

I'm going to bask in this one for a moment. It's not often anything I say is characterized as "smart".

I'm sure when most people call you smart it is followed by a 3 letter word.

I hope you get there. For one thing, it would be an awesome trip for you and your family. And also, I'd get to make fun of your TR afterwards.

I guess I would have that coming for all the harassment I've been giving you. My TR would be pretty bland though if I ever did one... my wife takes all the pictures which are few and far between and they're all on her computer. I actually got on there the other day to look at the pictures from our 2008 trip to find one in case I ever win the caption contest. We stayed at Disney for 7 days and there was a grand total of 6 pictures.

Correct.

I remember her taking a lot more pictures though... she's pretty bad about taking a bunch (and I hate having my picture taken, so I notice that part) and then never taking them off the camera. Next thing you know, the memory card is full, and she decides she needs a picture of something else so she just deletes old pictures. I remember we had a really cool picture of my wife, my sisters and me by Rock n' Rollercoaster one night with all the lights on. Guess it didn't make the cut.

I grew up as one of three boys, so I have never actually had any experience with the psyche of the teenage girl. Frankly, it petrifies me. Any helpful hints?

The one thing I tell my parents now looking back is...I really did love you all those years that I told you were incredibly embarassing and I only wanted to do things with my friends I wouldn't be caught dead hanging out with my parents in those years, but that quickly changed when I graduated high school and went away to college, then I really missed them and their wallets
