My DH and I arranged our own excursion a few years ago. It is a oceanfloor walk wearing the old fashioned type sponge diver helmet. This experience is only offered in Nassau and Bermuda. It is a family business and we found the Hartley's to be professional and welcoming. We had a wonderful experience.
No diving experience is necessary and it is safe for children as young as five years old. My husband used to dive quite a bit and had even been a dive instructor at one time. Although tame for him, he also enjoyed the experience as it is so different. The Hartley's had even tamed a grouper to allow you to touch him and be photographed. This experience made it impossible for me to eat grouper ever since.

We got a great picture that we used for our Christmas cards that year.
