A Typo?? $.93 a night and 1.13?

I have not received an e-mail. I noticed something strange when I went to view the reservation online. It now states on my confirmation that I have to call for details??? This wasn't there before. Has anybody else got this?

Tracy

Mine has that also. I have emailed the person that is on the hotel site and I will see what she says.

Sure enough mine says the same thing. I wonder what's up? I've emailed the person listed on the hotels website also to see what's up and if we are really going to get these rates.

Has anyone called the hotel directly and asked about their reservation at this low rate????

I just called the Holiday Inn 800 number (can't call directly to the hotel from work) and the lady I talked to looked up my reservation and told me my rate was $109.00/night - now I'm thinking they've changed the reservations from the $1.13 rate. (I do have a printout of my reservation at the $1.13 rate but can't access that now on the Internet - says "call for details")

Will have to wait until I get home to call the hotel directly.

I called the above number and they were able to verify my reservation with the confirmation number. I spoke to a Donna who said "wow you got a good deal" My price is still in the reservation as $1.18, it is a November reservation so I had to pay a little more  . I am happy. Mine is in the system. :goodvibes :cool1:

Interesting - my reservation was in the system also and the lady did mention $1.13 then said "wait a minute" and came back and told me the rate for that time was "$109.00/night" and asked me is that the rate you booked, I said "no, it was the $1.13 and it was a computer glitch" then she told me to call direct to the hotel - guess she doesn't know about the "glitch"

That's ok, I'll call when I get home.

with trying to get someone to answer at the hotel. that is why I called the 877 number. I tried the hotel direct 407-828-8888 and no one answered. hope you have better luck. Did that person maybe think you wanted to change or add a day, then you would have to pay the 109/night.

No, I told them I was just confirming my reservation and at the end told her "not to touch anything on the reservation."

Thinking of having/making back up plans just in case.

i called earler today to confirm and yes it is in the system at 1.39. The person I spoke with asked if I would like an e-mail on the confirmation, of course :rolleyes1 It came through and everything is correct.

I called the number posted here and sure enough, my reservations are in the system and have been re-confirmed at $1.13 rate! The lady on the telephone congratulated me for being savvy enough to catch such a great deal! I laughed and told her I had the dis-board to thank for it.

ok - I just called my contact back, her title is Senior Case Manager. She was not in but I spoke to someone else. He reviewed my file/case # & asked how he could help me. I told him about the call I received from her informing me about the email that would be coming directly from the manager/hotel. He said that email should be out by the end of the month. SOOOOO, more waiting......

I dont mind waiting though - with the WONDERFUL rate I received, no complaing from me!!! :cheer2:

I too called the 877 number and had them re-send my reservations to me via email and yes it was for $1.18/night and I did notice that it does say CAN'T CHANGE NAME OR DATES on reservation (which is ok) and it also says "special rate."

COOL!!!! No longer worried.
