Why do people care if others got to get this "mistaken" rate? I see a lot of anger from people "Your room will be dirty", "you get what you pay for".
Holiday Inn did not seem to have a problem with selling this rate. Several people on this thread (and I am sure others) called Holiday Inn, including the hotel itself to find out about this rate. And still they had it available for 17 hours! If they did not care, why should anyone else?
I am really surprised by the way people sound on this thread. Of course maybe there is just some jealousy that they did not get the rate.

I REALLY don't understand the people saying, "I just couldn't do that, it wouldn't be right"

Is it not a common practice for Supermarkets and chain stores to honor the price on the shelf for an item. Some places they even give it to you free if they mismark it!!
They are fixing to reopen, they have had NATIONWIDE publicity, AND look like the good guys that they are honoring the deal. Think of how many customers have become loyal customers now? I bet their website has had more "hits" in the past couple of days than EVER before!
Shame on the people trying to make this about moral character!
