Happy Fourth of July!
I will not be showing Connor that picture of the uncrustables.
I think we should figure out a way for you all to be the Grand Marshalls in the parade -- Brooklyn has the necessary wave and what a cool thing that would be to do!
That would be a dream come true for Jill! She'd love to be in a parade, and I'd love to take pictures of her in a parade.

Happy 4th
What a great way to start my day. Cinderella's fountain is one of my favorite spots and then I got to ride HM, BTMRR and POC form the comfort of my computer chair.
Chiming in re the uncrustables: Declan says they are gross (his word)
Thanks!
Today you get to take a trip to Wilderness Lodge frrom your chair, too.

Yeah, 'gross' is pretty much what my third-graders said about them.

Yay!! I love a little MK magic on a Saturday morning! Those pictures from the bakery sure hit the spot for me!
I thought the chocolate bundt cakes looked good, but they are probably way too rich for me!
I love the picture of the Pooh seersucker dresses. I love seersucker on little ones.
The flag lowering ceremony looks like something to check out. Who performs it? Was the man holding the flag at the end a visitor? Does this happen every day?
Have a Happy Independence Day!![]()
I like the little green Pooh one, and it is possible that you'll see it on Bella this summer, if they still have them.
As far as I know, the flag ceremony is held daily at five. A guest veteran (or two) participates in the ceremony. They have to sign up ahead of time. It is a very solemn time, and it gives me chills to watch it. They let children hold small flags and sing patriotic songs, and then they lower the flag and honor the veterans. The CMs stand at attention and many guests stop and watch in reverence during the whole thing. To me anyway, it is something I want to make a point to see on every trip.
Wonderful pictures today, MeMom!
I do want to see the flag lowering ceremony but I always seem to miss it.![]()
On one of your many future trips

kind of appropriate that you posted this on the 4th of July. i'm gonna try to get my WTC update done on my NYC TR today if i can.
Your WTC pictures were great. I am so glad I got to see those, and yesterday was a great day to put them up!
Happy Fourth of July!!!!
Thanks! It was a nice day.
Happy 4th of July MeMom and Jill!
Aw...that picture of the cinnamon rolls...We got those more than once during our late MK nights to take back to the room.
That's one of those things Jill always looks forward to - Main Street Bakery cinnamon rolls and apple turnovers.
MeMom, hope you have a happy 4th, you too Jill! Does Brooklynn enjoy the fireworks?
I have never seen the lowering of the flag, do you remember what time it occurs?
They went to see fireworks last night, but I didn't talk to them after they went. Maybe Jill will have pictures to share. Fireworks at Disney World have never bothered her, except when she and I were riding Dumbo during Wishes. If you've never ridden Dumbo during Wishes, you really should try it once. Wishes makes you feel like you're on the front lines of a war zone! It's pretty crazy back there! That was a little much for her....and me, too!
I work with a lady who eats those Uncrustables EVERY day! Apparently, she's been eating them for the last 5-6 years!!!! Yep, EVERY day! She pats it down, in the package, 5 times before she opens the package.![]()
Oh man, I could have mailed her about a two months' supply from what my students threw out!

It was nice having lunch with you today!![]()
It was nice meeting you, too. I enjoyed the laughs, and everyone seemed to like the food. You should feel honored that Drew made a rare appearance, too!

If you check on here early this morning, have a safe trip back home, and we hope to see you again, hopefully at a Disney World Dis meet!

I do not....pretty cool though. I like the pink, but I'm not so big on spiders
. I know all haunted mansions have them but the ones at disney aren't going to hurt me
. I would love if I could find a shirt like that with the house on the front....would be VERY cool!!
I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July holiday!! I can't believe it's here again and that means it's going to be Christmas soon!!![]()
Maybe they will have the perfect one when you go on your trip!
Don't wish my summer away.

You are right, though, because summer is half over, whether I like it or not. For me, when September arrives, it seems like Christmas is the next month because things get so busy!
