Hooooo Jill....that sounded like quite a weekend. Tucker sounds like a wild one. I hope everything for the wedding goes smoothly....
I can't wait to see pics of Brooklynn all dolled up!![]()
HEy everybody. Checking in after a crazy weekend. I was sick on Thursday. Bella had her two month check up on Friday. Can you believe she is already two months? Time sure does fly. She is now 23 inches and 10 pounds. Still a little peanut. I can't believe people deliver babies as big as she is now that is crazy!!! John's sister came down with her family Thursday through today. That was an adventure! Her oldest just turned 4 in May and his behavior is horrible because he has no discipline. He went to church this morning with us. He went in Brooklynn's class with her and when I went out with Bella I could hear him screaming and yelling and the teachers saying "sit down." I couldn't do anything because I had the baby so I ended up getting his mom to go in there with about 5 minutes of class left. Then during service he left and wandered around the building with his dad following him. When we got in the car I asked Brooklynn how class was and she replied "Tucker was really bad. He was running and throwing things and he hit and kicked the teacher. And he was yelling!" I felt so bad that I apologized to the teachers tonight. At lunch he ran out of the restaurant into the parking lot while we were all still at the table. I am so glad they went home this afternoon. We will see them in just a few days though since we are headed to Ohio on Wednesday for John's little brother's wedding. If anybody has a prescription for Prozac can I borrow it? Brooklynn is the flower girl so I of course will be taking lots of pictures. Me and the girls are headed to MeMom's tomorrow to go to VBS.
We'll be waving as we drive. Are there any good places to stop around you and let a toddler get out and run around for a bit. I figure we will probabaly stop around there on the way back and let brooklynn get out to stretcch her legs for about 15 to 20 minutes while I feed Bella. Any suggestions as to where?
I will try to find that path during the daytime with someone else with me. I'd love to walk it! I've read that you could walk over, but that you had to go across a road you weren't really supposed to be on, so I've never sought it out. If it's legal, I want to find it, but I think I would be a little scared to do it alone in the dark hours of the morning. I'm putting it on my ever-growing list of things to do in July.
I hope you decide to do the 'Behind the seeds tour'. I want to send my DMom on it as a surprize. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.![]()
There's a McDonald's with an outdoor play area at the exit for 741. (I am not sure on this exit number, can you help out iluvxu?) You'd get off the expressway and make a left. It's about a mile from King's Island and in a good part of town, just to make your mom happy. If you'd rather do a park, Laura would probably be better for options as I feel I am still earning my way around.
I'd personally stick with something either in the Lebanon or Mason/Kings area. Any further south and you are dealing with far more traffic and craziness than you want.
Awww, I can't believe Bella is already 2 months old!!!!!
Um Jill, it sounds like you need prozac with a side of xanax.......whew!!!!!!!!!
I teach 3 year olds at my Sunday School and we had a child who came for a visit that was just like that. Except he not only would scream at us, he also kicked us and the proceeded to go to the bathroom and potty (or so I thought!!) but what he actually did was take something out that should have been in the toilet and smeared it all over the toilet!! I was livid!!!! I had to go get my sister (who teaches 4 year olds) to go get his parents since my helper wasn't there!! What a wonderful day that day!![]()
We enjoyed The Living Seas and Nemo and Friends. We went to Epcot our first night and walked onto Nemo. It was funny walking through that loooonngggggggggggg queue all by ourselves. I loved the coffee cup!
MeMom, I'm having deja vu looking while reading your TR!
The living with the land part is mysteriously missing from my memory though!
The Living Seas is one part of Epcot that I haven't really spent a lot of time in. I enjoyed seeing your pictures of it! That starfish photo is cool. I can see why your students liked it!

Great update and pics.
I want that mine mine mug. I might get it in October or ask my friends as they are going Saturday.
I've seen that tunnel many times but the way those modified golf cart thingies zip around POP I would be scared I'd get run over! Those are the only things I've seen coming out of or going into the tunnel. It looks to me like they use them to transport employees from POP to their cars.
Aw....I know how much Brookie likes Nemo so it had to be hard to be there without her!
Don't mean to hijack the thread but we did the Behind the Seeds tour in Dec with all 8 people in our group from 7 years old to 69 years old and we all loved it. Our CM was a college student interning at the Land and was very knowledgable. For the $$, it is so worth it especially if you are into gardening.
I enjoyed your Nemo update. My son would love those Nemo cars. He loves to play with Matchbox type cars. You usually step on at least one every time you walk through our house.
No wonder your kids like the picture of the starfish, it is great.
Thanks for the info! Currently we are at MeMom's dropping the dog off, eating lunch and taking a potty break. From here we are headed to the LOuisville ZOo and staying over night in Louisville. Tomorrow we will be headed out and planning on spending some time at the Columbus Zoo and then finishing out our trek to Ashland. We have to pick up John's tux at 5:00
Brooklynn's dress is in the car and anything else can be purchased when we get there.
I never knew there were manatees living at Epcot, and I love manatees. They are definitely going on my must see list.
The mine, mine mug is fun. I wonder if my husband would like it?
Oh, and I can't wait to see pictures of Brooklyn in her flower girl dress.![]()
