A trip to WDW w/NO kids? Hubba Hubba! Wink Wink! UPDATE: EXTRA, EXTRA!!! Pg 158

Well if the 151 includes all the fees and taxes and everything then I would def. pick that. Thats not bad at all. And the times are a little better.

Book the tickets girl! The stress you are going through isn't worth the $20 you'll save by waiting. Having a stroke over airline tickets is going to put a crimp in your Disney plans! :scared:

Book them! :cheer2:

:rotfl2: he's a super nut!

Hey everyone!

We went to the grocery store and I got a BUNCH of fruit and vegetables to snack on when I'm hungry in between meals. I actually managed to keep Mike from pulling every single type of cookie off the shelf. :thumbsup2 LOL
Got pretty much everything on my list, and a couple of other things not listed---as usual. I bought a couple of South Beach diet meals and snacks just to have something quick (also I had a coupon...LOL)
I even got some raisins! They're not my favorite, but I figured I could snack on the little packs at work, rather than eating CANDY.

And...I'll even tell ya what I ate for dinner: 2 pieces of turkey, and 2 pieces of american cheese (rolled up and melted in the microwave). Also some grapes and a golden delicious apple---which wasn't very good this time. I shoulda got granny smith, but they're so tart I can't handle them sometimes.
It doesn't sound like much for dinner, but for some reason I wasn't very hungry. It's strange...I know.

In other news...

I was on SR earlier, and on a message board where I found ChipNDale (which is why he hasn't been HERE :rotfl2: LOL) and I teased him about passing me up in earnings. The moderator then said I should get double referral points for such a "cool referral". And a few minutes later, there they were, posted to my account! How cool is that?! (Yes, the little things make me SO SO happy...and I'm so grateful to ChipNDale)
Now I'm $2.00 closer to my goal of $50.00 before the trip.

And here is the best news I have gotten all day!!!

I was so excited!

I mean REALLY excited!!

SUPER DUPER excited!!!

And you wanna know why?!

Because I made a phone call....

a phone call to WHOM, you might ask?

Well......to Disney Dining of course!

And it was music to my ears....

When the Disney rep said.....

"Yes, we have 6:40 available for Kona Cafe on September 20th"

And of course I said "I'll TAKE IT!" just like that. And canceled my Spoodles ADR.

YIPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! :dance3: :cheer2:

I can't wait to have those sticky wings and the Lapu Lapu!!

Like I said, persistance pays, people!

:woohoo:

Now my dining reservations are NEARLY perfect. If I could change Le Cellier to dinner that would be even better!

NEXT: UPDATE: Good for you food, and fish---not the kind you eat.

That is so cool on Sunshine Rewards.. I have not hit the forums yet on there, ince they are new. What is that like? Like a chat room or discussion threads like on here?

Very awesome about Disney Dining:cool1:

I originally thought you were going to say you booked your air, but I should have known better:rotfl2:

It's discussion boards. In fact, they look exactly the same. I noticed there is a HUGE connection between DIS and SR. Lots of DISers posting there.

:rotfl2: Nope, no air yet. But I have been trying SO hard to get Kona---I mean calling EVERY day (except this weekend in FL) and have been unsuccessful til now. It's just SO COOL!

Hey, I just saw something in the Allears newsletter that y'all NEED to see...

"Disney has announced in its Fall Mickey Monitor (the periodic publication for annual passholders) that The Year of a Million Dreams celebration will continue through December 31, 2008."

 I don't know if this is true, but I checked Disney's website and it didn't say anything. Can anyone confirm this?

I really need to hit the sack. I'm SO sleepy....

I saw another post on the DIS about YOAMD!!! :woohoo: My trip next year...I'm seeing the castle in my future!!!!

And :woohoo: for the ADR!!!!

:yay: for the ADR!! Congrats, girl :)

Also, looks like you're doing good on your diet. I wish I could say the same. I just got done eating the best cinnamon biscuit I've ever eaten. Yum!! ;) I can't help but indulge.

Anyways, just wanted to let you know I'm still here. I've just been a little quiet. It's been busy around here and I'm still trying to get everything in order for my trip. Disney is going to be consuming my life from now till the end of '08. :woohoo: & :headache:

Ya know, that cinnamon biscuit thing isn't even tempting. :goodvibes
I did bring a Coke Zero today and I'm trying not to even drink that, but if I get the craving at least I know there's no real sugar in there.

That is cool. Will have to check out those discussion forums for sure....:thumbsup2

Cool! :thumbsup2 I have earned over $7.00 in the past 24 hours just by all these new offers they are posting.

I know! I'm so excited about Kona!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup yup....I wonder why they decided to extend it? Maybe they were slacking and they didn't come up with any good ideas for next year yet. LOL But hey I think no one will complain! If anyone finds an article on why they did this, please let me know. I like reading stuff like that.

all caught up. i can't believe that you are this close, and no flight booked! i'd cave, i can't handle the pressure. lol.

Like I said, I'm a Risk-taker!! ;)

Hey everyone! How are we today?

38 days! :woohoo:

Well, we still don't have the flight booked. But don't worry about us. We will get it taken care of soon enough.

I figure I might as well let y'all know what I've eaten today, since I asked for encouragement, etc. If you don't care to know, just skip this. LOL Today for breakfast I had Quaker Instant "Weight control" oatmeal and a small box of raisins. For lunch I had a South Beach Diet meal --Penne & chicken in Roasted Red Pepper Sauce with Broccoli. The pasta was a whole grain wheat kind. It was actually pretty good. And so far I have drank only water today. I am going to have either a banana, cut pineapples, or an apple for an afternoon snack. Will I make it to the gym tonight? Who knows.....

On to other more exciting things, we finally bought 2 fish for our 55 gal. fish tank that was set up a couple of weeks ago.
We're starting off with 2 oscars. But we don't know what to name them. That's where y'all come in. Want to help name our fish?
Here's the rules:
1. They have to be Disney
2. They have to be names starting with C and an M (our dogs also have our initials, but we didn't mean it to be that way, but now we think it would be cute to also have our first 2 fish names with C & M)
3. Mike thinks they need to be a girl's name and a boy's name but that wasn't my original criteria.

Well....get your brains workin'! :goodvibes

NEXT: Still no tix...and no chocolate either!

Chip for the boys name, because my wife loves the name chip and that is my dogs name.

and Minnie for the girls name because, minnie also rocks.

1st of all, :wave2: right back @ ya. No worries about the flight not being booked yet. My Dad usually waits to book stuff like that too till just before he leaves to get the last minute deals too and it usually works out. I'm sure ya'll will get a great deal. And if not, it's a small price to pay to be able to get to the Mouse safely and quickly :thumbsup2

Good job on the eating today!! :thumbsup2 You're doing great! Hope you do make it to the gym tonight. I need a gym partner/dieter like you around to get me motivated! haha

Congrats on the fish!! Here's my idea of names for them:
Cleo for the girl (it's the cats name from Pinocchio)
Meeko for the boy (it's the racoon's name from Pocahontas)

Take pictures!!
