Wow your poor baby he was like hrm I'm not so sure about this Mama. I'm sure as he gets older it will be much more exciting for him. But so cute none the less! I loved how he stared Cindy down. Like hrm who are you? Can't wait to read more!

yes he deos that stare thing to strangers. I figure he is just trying decide if he knows them!

I went back for devyn to take a nap and after an hour he showed no signs of relaxing so we went back with the family at AK. They were having evening EMH so we were in no rush. behold we get to AK and my bag breaks. i was a little sad it was my disney campus rep bag. the zipper just could not hang on

but it was ok because it gave me an excuse to do SHOPPING! and since my parents were there they kindly offered to pay! they tend to do that when devyn is involved, i mean how else can i hold his belongings.
The rest of the day at ak was pretty uneventful. devyn did get to play some drums

we saw the end i mean end of the parade, we rode a few rides and because Dsis and her gang were such late arrivals, they wanted to do kilo safari so who am i to object but can you imagine, we were walking to the safari and guess who decides to take a nap 4 hours after he usually takes it..yes my little one. he was quite heavy!!but i love that little dude!!

we left around 7 becasue we had ADR for Boma. and of course i have no food porn picks. the place was crowded but the food was good! i mean very good. but what i liked most of all were the desserts! I do not know what i had but it was good. all of it!!! AKL was so pretty, i would like to stay there one day!! After dinner we knew we would have to transfer busses to get to POP, so we decided to take the downtown disney bus and visit while we transferred..BIG MISTAKE!! first off the bus was freezing i mean it felt like it was 20degrees on that bus and im from georgia so i dont think 60degree weather is ok for air, we dont even turn on the air if its 70 degress. and secondly, that was the LONGEST bus ride in my life. seriuosly it took us almost 30 minutes. i mean i dont know if thats usual but it felt like forever! we got off did our walk and took some pics

one day i hope to do cirque de soleil show right know its just a bit out of my budget to add that. After the walk we went back to POP with a much warmer bus. thank goodness, i mean to me it was cold outside. That was the end of the day..My highlight was BOMA. i would like to try it for breakfast next time.
next is a dayfull of action..on with the show at MGM opps i mean hollywood studios!

I do not think 30 minutes is typical...I've only stayed at the ASM but I think they are pretty close to each other and 30 minutes might be a bit much. Other times I've stayed at SoG which is pretty far from everything so I would expect that trip to take a long time. But I'm glad you had fun! Oh man I would have been like Devyn we aren't leaving till you take a nap. Haha j/k I would have needed one though at that point. I still have yet to eat at BOMA.

I guess i wore my family out. the next day we all, even me, started out late. i originally wanted to go to EPCOT to try the food and wine festival but my Dsis were all about rides, they really wanted to ride tower of terror and they wanted to have more for the kids to do so we went to the studios! When devyn and i woke up we were first and we took our time around the resort to let devyn run around a bit. of course i knew that meant that TSM would be a long wait! and my nephew loves toy story.

we eventually left Dsis when we realized they were still sleep at 11am but we did take my nephew and the custest thing ever happened on the bus, devyn gave me his 1st real hard cheese for the camera. i was sad because it was blurry but still cute

at the studios TSM was already at 100 minutes but i went over for devyn to meet characters but we only got one before the lines closed

before Dsis arrived we did playhouse disney live on stage. my nephew loved it but my baby did not so much. he was not interested in sitting he wanted to go out as soon as mickey left he was ready to leave. when it was time for lunch my Dsis showed up and we went to visit my nephew's favorite.......



WOODY!!!


He was looking forward to this. i showed him a pic of woody and me when i visited the world in 09. He couldn't believe that i met woody and i told him we would visit him and he got so excited. Devyn was interested too!

next we were thinking about TSM. the wait changed the whole day but i do not remeber it being shorter than 90 minutes all day and of course the FP's were gone. Ill finish later!!

So i look over and my nephew is throwing a fit to ride woody or TSM. if only they would have listened to me and i look up and see the wait is 70 minutes. the shortest its been all day, so we figured, why not?? andso we did. yes we stood in line and i was looking at my clock and it took us exactly 70 minutes to get to the steps going down the ride! so at least we know the wait times are correct. . Fortunately for us the giant icons in the line were enough to keep the little ones entertained.

we finally made it but i did remeber it being more fun the 1st time i rode it. lets just say, if i wait that long again another toddler has to be crying on there first visit to disney and wants to ride it.
ii really like the studios and i really enjoy just watching the little sideshows. its not a camando park for me except for when im there at opening to ride the 3 main rides. i was happy sitting on a bench eating a funnel cake. we had an ADR at captians grille at 8, so while waiting for the rest of the party. devyn had a little photshoot. check them out!!

so im not a professional but hes still too cute!
we left for our ADR at captians grille. i was looking forward to some crab legs but the experience was awful. First we had ADR, but it took them almost ah hour to get us seated. sevreal families came and went. i was very upset and then our waitress, cant remeber her name, was not awful but so not good. she disappeared, i had to hunt someone else down to get a refill on the drink. on the upside the crab legs were great.
we got back to the hotel late because of how slow it was. it was our last full day so we went to use our arcade card that comes with the package and went to sleep. Next was our first visit to chef mickey's!!

we woke up sad that it was the last day and even sadder that i had to go back to class the next morning. Before the plane ride back, we had ADR for chef mickeys. so how deos a college program cast member and lifelong disney fanatic not know about character meals..late DISer..lol. it was everyone's forst character meal. i was so excited. i remember being a little girl and riding the monerail through the CR and seeing the characters down there and i was happy that my son and i could enjoy it. the food was very good, i know that many people argue that the food quality has gone down but if you have someone like me that went to disney every year as a child and always ate at cosmic rays, i had nothing else to compare it to. the character interaction was great, i especially loved how minnie interacted with devyn. Goofy was hilarious. he would hold his hand out to give a five and take it back, he sat in highchairs, he sat at this empty table and signed all the autograph books there and he picked on this one guy all morning. while the guy wasnt looking he sole his chari and took it to the other end of the restaurant. everyone was cracking up. the guy didnt notice he had to point it out. while we were there goofy didnt give him the chair back. here are some pics!

It was fun but we are going to try some other places the next time around. After breakfast we had a little time and since dev and my nephew love trains we rode the monerail twice around and the pack to pop to get magical express. it was short but it was fun and worth it! Devyn and i actually went back alone in december and stayed at the poly for another weekend and it was wonderful and a good thing i was at the poly because the stroller and buses this trip were a handful! I enjoyed this trip and i cant wait for another one!!!!!

I really don't like the character meals where they don't talk....I don't know it's just me. But I think it's so cute you little man grabbed Pluto's tongue!

Aw, what a great little TR! Your baby is SO adorable! I can't wait to take my little one! Seems like he did well meeting the characters, which I hope my DS will do also when we go. At that age, you just never know! Also, I LOVE his t-shirts, especially the First Airplane Ride one!! Did he get a lot of attention for his birthday button? We plan on getting one for DS even though it'll be a couple weeks after his birthday, because that is what we are celebrating on the trip.

We are kind of debating doing a Christmas party at this point, if they have started by the time we go. Do you feel like it was worth the money with a little one? I see y'all stayed until 11 pm, so you got pretty good use out of the party ticket! That's what we were worried about, paying all that $$ for our party tickets and having DS be ready to leave by 8 pm! I guess we'll have to see how his temperament is with bedtime as the trip gets closer, but I'd love to know more about your experience.

thank you we had a great time! no one really saw his button bc it was on his stroller. He would not let that thing stay on his shirt!. i have never odne the christmas party but the halloween party was great. we did get our money worth because we got in at 4pm with the party ticket and that was also our only MK day . i think it helped that my DS took naps in his stroller with no problem and he was usually going to bed late like 10 or 11 pm around that time. His not hard to plase as long as i had a bottle and some fries that boy is ok, he could eat that 24-7 if i let him. He will like new thinkgs around that time so get them and try to keep some similarties on the trip as you do at home
