Day 1 Arrival Day
Ok, so I finally fell asleep around 2:45 am
The alarm went off right at 4:15am so I hopped out of bed took a quick shower and then woke everyone else up. The boys were so excited they were no problem getting ready. Bryan on the other hand took some persuading and yelling from me and the boys
He finally got with the program and by 5:00am we were one happy family again and ready to walk down to the terminal
We check our luggage and proceed to security. I was surprised at how many people were there so early in the morning
We get to security and everyone has to take their shoes off.. Eric says " we have to walk on these disgusting floors without our shoes on?"
This kid is such a little clone of me because that is exactly what I was thinking. So we make it through security and get to the gate around 5:40am Bryan goes to grab some breakfast for everyone while the boys and I wait. Here is a picture of them waiting...
So we are finally called to board the plane and it was a great flight only about 50 people on the whole plane!
Or kids were the only kids too!
We land at MCO around 8:50am
So psyched to be here that early. We proceed to the Magical Express check in area!
There is NO ONe else in line!
We check in and are welcomed aboard right away! While we are outside Bryan snaps this picture...
Then we get on the bus and are on our way. Here is a pic. of me and the boys on the bus.
While we are on the bus I discreetly try to call my friend to see where they are because this is the first surprise of the trip for the boys, they have no idea that their best friends from home are going to be in Disney with them.
So she says to me, "we are sitting by the pool, when you come out of the lobby go to the right and we are behind the statue of Lady" I'm thinking OK that sounds a little confusing but whatever I'll figure it out
I have no idea if Magical Express is going to another resort first or what so I say it could be up to an hour before we get there, but to my surprise 15 minutes later we are pulling up to POP CENTURY!
From the time we landed to when we stepped off the bus at POP it was 50 minutes!
I go inside to check in while Bryan waits with the boys here is a pic. they took while waiting in the POP lobby...
I check in and we proceed outside, I call my friend to tell her that we are headed in their direction and then I spotted her and she had her kids backs toward us... My kids had no clue still and then finally Eric sees his friend and says " What are you doing here?" This is a pic. of him....
They were so surprised! It was hard for us to get great pictures because we couldn't position ourselves right.
But after everyone exchanged high fives and hellos this is the group picture we took of all the boys...
We then went upstairs and dropped off all our stuff. We sunblocked the kids and ourselves and then headed for the POP bus stop for the Magic Kingdom...
Eric continues to freak out about his ears so we go back to the house
What the heck is going on here are we ever going to find a spot!
mission accomplished! We make our way to the hotel which is attached to the airport thank god and check in. We decide to order room service for dinner because the thought of searching for food is just not appealing and we NEVER order room service. The kids were thrilled! We all ate and the boys were asleep by 8:00. Bryan fell asleep shortly thereafter but me well that's a whole other story....
