I feel a little out of my depth doing this after reading so many fab reports but really want to give something back to thank everyone on here for all the fab tips, advice and help. I know how much I have learned from reading others, so hopefully doing my own reports will help someone else. Anyway, enough of the rambling!

Cast

Me- Karen 37 (just!)
OH -Anthony 31 (nearly-it sounds better than 30! :rotfl:)
DD -Anna 2 and 9 Months

I have called this a trip for our Princess as neither OH or I have ever really been big Disney fans (hangs head in shame) or "ride" fans but Anna is obsessed with all things Disney.

We are staying at the HNY from the 22nd until the 26th September and are all getting well and truly into the Disney spirit now!

As for planning our days, I have finally decided to have a few "must do's"- Parades, Playhouse Disney Live, Salon Mickey, etc and get a programme when we arrive and generally try to go with the flow. We're just looking forward to being there together and as at home, if Anna's happy then we are too.

We have our meals booked though, Cafe Mickey on the day we arrive (6.15), Inventions for the next evening (6.00), Auberege for lunch the following day and BBWWS for the Friday evening. Anna has an outfit for every one, including a fab pink cowgirl outfit for the BBWWS :yay:

I am really determined not to run around like a headless chicken trying to cram everything in but just to (try to) relax and go with the expert tips from DIS and the Brit Guide such as using the EMH, fastpasses and seeing the characters in the DLH in the afternoon on the days they're there. Other than that I imagine it will be Fantasyland much of the time for us! :rotfl:

Will upload pics of our Princess trying on some of her outfits when I get a minute. (Ok when OH gets home from work and I get him to do it! :rotfl:)

:goodvibes the HNY is the only onsite hotel I haven't stayed at, that I really want to some day.

Remember to take loads of pictures, and just enjoy The Magic :dance3:

Look forward to seeing those photos!! :thumbsup2 Then we'll know who to look out for! :goodvibes

We'll be there the same time as you but I think we're doing the same restauarants, just at different times/days! No doubt will be in Fantasyland or parades at the same time! :cloud9:

Isabelle is desperate for a cowgirl hat like Jessie - it's great that they love dressing up isn't it?! Have a great trip and I'll look forward to reading your trip report when you get back and we're both suffering from post-Disney blues!! :rotfl2:

Will do Elaine and promise to try to get foodie photos in the restaurants etc-they always seem to be appreciated :)

mum to belle, will post pics asap. Yes it's lovely that the kids are so into dressing up etc, it really is magical for them :lovestruc Anna told me recently she wants to be a tooth fairy when she grows up-the innocence and excitement of children, nothing beats it! p.s. You are not allowed to mention the "back home" phrase again!!! :sad2: :lmao:

Aw bless her - Isabelle thinks that she IS Jasmine and that she is going to find herself an Aladdin! :lovestruc

I solemnly promise not to mention "that phrase" again. Cross my heart, etc etc... ;)
