I love the first day of school pictures. Are those school uniforms? If so, I really like that. ANd I like that they both had on clear backpacks. It is such a shame, but in this day and age, you can never be too careful at school! Those backpacks would work well at Disney, too, for bag checks!

Yes those are uniforms & it is the district policy that all backpacks are clear or mesh.

Actually no, I hate it. Along with uniforms, belts, I have to buy regular clothing for them to wear. It doubles up on laundry & is just all around a pain in the rear. They started uniforms the year after I graduated in 99 (thank God cause I would have hated it) and the uniform policy has been enforced ever since. Koby can wear orange, navy or white shirts (school colors). Brady can wear navy or white shirts (his school colors). Some schools say white only or you can purchase uniform shirts that have the mascot on the lapel with the school color from the school. If they would have a standard set of guidelines that would be great. The mesh & clear backpacks are a pain to find since we are the only district that requires them. It is so hard to say "no you can't get _______ backpack for school, you have to get this kind."

I hate school uniforms for every reason you listed! Thankfully the highschool doesn't have uniforms so my clothing bill is a fraction of the usual amount! They had tried the clear backpacks once and the rule lasted about one week!

We have had bus issues in the past and it is so frustrating!! One time the kids got to school but not home!! Well, eventually but they were supposed to be home at 3:40 and it was 5:15!!!

We start back next week....I am not looking forward to it! But then I am not a stay-at-home mom! They would drive me bizerk if I was and I would be requesting year round boarding school!!

Disney stuff: The character pics are so good!! The character's thumb sucking is adorable!! I love Brady's face on EE!! That is one of my favorite rides!! Your feet!! I don't know how you made it and had a smile in your pictures!! Okay...I think I am all caught up now!!

I guess the reason I had a smile on my face was the Disney magic. I walked REALLY slow, which ticked off Ben cause he was ready to run the park it seemed like!

The only good thing is there is no hassle on what to put on in the mornings. You know what you are wearing & there is no "but I don't want to wear that!"

It was definitely worth the money!

I bet they would. Shelby walked up with her thumb in her mouth so they did it back at her.

School starts early in case we get hit by a hurricane. If they miss school time, they can add it back in. And today has been WONDERFUL!!!!

I am so glad that they are back to normal size, but they are still peeling from all the blisters!

I love the ride pics, that was money well spent!

First day of school was awesome! Koby said he had a wonderful day & Brady said this was the best first day of school in his life! He is so dramatic lol

you're last day looked like so much fun! I LOVE all of your pics! Brady's expression on Everest when he rode with you is soo cute! But he just looks so dang thrilled in the pics with Goofy! I have to say, Goofy is by far the best character to hang out with in WDW. Always a great memory!

I'm so sorry about your feet! Mine never swelled like that but back in 2008, I got blisters from my crocs just sitting on the plane on our way there! The top of the shoe was rubbing against my foot while I was sleeping and I had a huge blister. I developed another blister in the same spot but on the other foot just walking through the Orlando Airport. I switched over to flip flops for the rest of the week and of course, got blisters between my toes! I always bring rubbing alcohol with me so I cleaned them up really well and ended up getting some neosporin and bandaids from the gift shop at the resort. Just doing that, they felt so much better by the next morning! I definitely have to suck it up and look into moleskin though!

We had the same feet! Girl between my toes was horrible! Moleskin was great! I wish I would have found it before! And what I did was place the sticky side on my feet & the outside was against the shoe, I did it backwards, but it worked!

Girl, I would have cut off my feet at the ankles by our last day & would have been happy! It worked, there were no blisters, the only hindrance was the swelling. If my feet would not have been so swollen I would have been fine!

I love the characters in their safari outfits. I am going to have to plan to go by CMM. Does the moleskin work well? Have been debating on picking it for my family's trip just in case.

The moleskin worked great even though I put it on backwards! Lol! That will be a must for next trip! And today 2011 vacation package prices came out, so my travel agent is looking into it for me! Yay! I am hoping that Monday goes much better with the busses!
