Once we finished meeting Lilo & Stitch, we headed off to Camp Minnie-Mickey. Once again I heard from Ben, "We saw these characters already, why do we have to see them again?" My reply was "Because I want to." Case closed. The very 1st one we saw was Donald. He was great with Shelby.

I love how he is sucking his thumb just like Shelby! Now everytime we had a line to wait in, I would sit down because my feet were killing me! Which irritated Ben to no end. After Donald, we met up with Goofy!

And what does Goofy do?

Sucks his thumb, just like Donald did!

He kept on hugging & holding Shelby & I said "Goofy are you keeping my baby?" Goofy shook his head yes! All the characters wanted to keep her! It was too sweet. Goofy then took my hand & placed Shelby's hand in mine.
Now Brady had been wearing the "Just Celebrating" button all week. Koby had been wearing the birthday button & Shelby had been wearing the 1st Visit button. Koby & Shelby got attention, but Brady had not. Goofy is Brady's favorite character (go figure!) so he was really excited to see him again. Once he is in line, the CM said "Hey Goofy, what is he celebrating?" Brady proudly said "Good grades! I had a 4.0 average all year long!" Goofy makes a letter A in the air & I said, "yes Goofy, Brady made all A's this year!" He gave Brady a huge hug & a High 5. Brady was on top of the world! The only person to ask him what he was celebrating & it was his favorite character! How is that for Disney magic!

Next we headed off to Minnie. Her line was a bit longer than Donald & Goofy, but we stuck it out. Shelby walks up to Minnie & Minnie sees herself on Shelby's outfit & she points to it & points to herself. I said "Yes Minnie we are both wearing you!" She looked at my shirt & gave me a hug.

We got in line for Mickey, but it was extremely long & way too hot & my feet were killing me so we left without seeing Mickey. Oh well, maybe next time. Now it was time for Kilimanjaro Safari. I was literally begging for a wheelchair cause my feet were killing me. But Ben said no that he was not paying extra for it. I was pretty mad. We had some time to kill, so we rested for a minute & I took this pic of my left foot with my BB.

Notice, you can't even see my ankles. It was BAD. So we hobbled along to the Safari. It was great, the driver was REAL cute lol, but the pics I got were not that great since I had either Brady's head or Ben's head in every single pic. After that it was time to head for Everest! I don't know how I continued walking, but I did. Ben wanted to do Kali River Rapids, but they were out of fastpasses and the wait was 90 mins. Uh no way, don't think so. So Everest it is! Ben rode 1st with the boys. I gladly sat out with Shelby & propped my my 4x the normal size feet I had. Brady got off the ride & said that was awesome! He was ready to do it again!

Koby didn't want to ride a 2nd time with me, so it was just Brady & I. I tried to get him to raise his hands, but he was too chicken. But at least he overcame his fear of rollercoasters! Brady & I in the 2nd row:

After Everest was done, we stopped to get these PP pics taken:

We stopped to check Kali River Rapids again & it was a 60 min wait, nope, no thank you. We realized that we should have gotten fastpasses for that as soon as we got on the park. So we decide it's time to head out & get ready to go home. Now after all the fighting I hear Koby tell Brady "come here Brady & hold my hand, I don't want you to get lost." Huh?! What? Who are these kids?

There was no bus from AK to DTD, so we took the bus back to ASMu & Ben & the kids went shopping at DTD while I sat on one of the huge letter Ls they have in ALL to prop up my swollen feet. I could no longer bend my toes, when I would push down on my foot, I could feel the fluid & I would have an indention for about 5 mins on where I pushed down at. I was miserable & it was horrible. I sat there & watched people waiting to catch their bus to wherever they was going & the smiles on their faces. Children all excited, newlyweds in love, it was amazing. I loved just sitting there & watching them & taking it all in. After about 2 hrs Ben & the kids get back to the resort & we get in the car. Bye Mickey! I will see you real soon!

He can be, he can also be hell on wheels! No I did not, I kept them elevated & stayed off my feet for 4 days & they were fine.

Great update! It is sad to see things end. I ended up ordering the carriage cage from ebay. Thanks for sharing info with me about them. We got them the other day and the kids are really excited to pick their pearls.

Well today was the long awaited day, the First Day of School! Well, the day didn't get started so great. Even though Koby & Brady are at different schools (Koby in middle, Brady in elementary) they have the same bus driver & bus to ride, just at different times. Koby's school is set to let in at 7:35, so we were out to catch the bus at 6:30, we saw the bus, she never came our way. So Ben had to leave work to bring him to school. Brady's school is due to let in at 8:35, we were out there for 7:15, my neighbor brought him to school at 8:20 because the bus never came! I called both schools & called the Transportation office. I am waiting on a call back. We will see. I was not a happy mommy. But anyway, here are some of the pics from the morning! Enjoy!

UPDATE: Well, I just got a call from the boys' bus driver. She was very sweet & said she didn't realize she had children to pick up further down than where she passed. I explained to her where we live & she said she is making a note of it & she will fix the problem for me. The boys will be on the bus this afternoon, so they should be able to tell her where to go.

I love the thumb sucking ones too! I thought that was too cute! Brady was too excited that Goofy was the one to tell him congrats!

That was just my left foot, my right foot was the same size! Oh yes definitely ready for whatever happens next time!

I can't believe that the bus didn't come (either time). I bet the boys were let down. Riding the bus on the first day of school was always the best. Riding the bus the rest of the days wasn't so good though.

Koby was more upset that he had to have Brady at the bus stop today. He was looking forward to catching the bus alone! Hopefully Monday we will have better results!
