A Total Fluff Thread about an Ankle Bracelet

So I was in a boring meeting earlier, and to pass the time I was just people watching. Anyway, one of the women in the meeting was wearing what I think was a very pretty anklet...looked like a tennis bracelet.

I say I think it was pretty, because she was wearing it under her pantyhose...now, I am in NO WAY a fashionista, but you don't normally do this, do you? It looked really weird.

I wear an ankle bracelet every day. I rarely wear pantyhose. When I do wear pantyhose I am too lazy to take the ankle bracelet off and put it back on over the hose. Bad me. I used to put it on over the pantyhose, but like I said, I am now too lazy for that.

To me, an anklet is very casual and shouldn't be worn on the rare occasion when panty hose are called for.

I wasn't going to say anything but when I went out on a date with some jerk eons ago.....he alluded to fact that women who wore ankle bracelts were, well, not so nice....I had one on!

Needless to say, me AND my ankle braclet left him in the middle of the restaurant...hmmph.

A friend of mine used to wear one *under* her pantyhose and I thought it looked odd. I finally asked her why and her reason was to avoid losing a very expensive ankle bracelet. Hers happened to have diamonds. (Oh my!)

I solve the problem by just not wearing pantyhose.

I've heard the same kind of thing from some men about ankle bracelets/nice girls. Also about tattoos, or even double pierced ears. What year is this again?

I think its odd to see anklets under pantyhose. It looks like the poor anklet is smothering in there. All bunched up and twisted. Makes me feel bad for the anklet. Once cute and flirty, now all smothered and wierd.
