Great, I switched out two of my ADRs for better choices. Disney must of increased the capacity at some of their locations.

That's what I was thinking. Must be more than 25% at restaurants with this change

There must have been some sort of glitch... because that was insane. I got hundreds of alerts. And now the dining reservation part of the site is down. I hope it wasn't a mistake, I'm going to be so upset if they pull the ones I made this morning because I gave up the ones I had prior to this for the better times.

I left the app open to the 'dining reservations temporarily unavailable' page inadvertently and it did eventually move me forward to the 'select your party size' page but didn't show anything available for all day for a party of 8 this coming up Sunday anywhere. Either things really booked up fast or it's still down? Who knows.

some are speculating this morning's opening up of ADRs might have been a glitch

Disney released a statement stating it was a technical issue and there is no increased capacity (added availability). They released a new website redesign that will require you to login to look at dining availability.

I got 4 new reservations previously unavailable at 7a.m. this morning. They are still in MDE plans.

I was also able to make a couple last minute reservations this morning before 9 AM (EST). One being a reservation at Oga's for this Saturday. Really hoping it doesn't get pulled!

Ya they should have done the update in the overnight hours, not this morning when people check the site.

If they pull them, I wonder if they will re-apply any ADRs we canceled today? I canceled 2 that I was able to get at 60 days out after I was able to get better times this morning. I hope I didn’t just completely lose half of my ADRs!!!

I would think they will cancel them since its not increased capacity and would cause a capacity constraint for those times. If they have a history on your account then I would imagine they would revert them back.

They may force ADRs at parks to only ones you have a park pass for.

It’s not the end of the world to me if we lose the ones I booked today. However, if they don’t revert to what I had booked at my 60 day mark that I canceled today after booking new times and I lose THOSE, I will be pretty upset.

Hopefully there is an easy way for Disney to reset its system to just restore the data that was there prior to the update they tried to do today. I do not envy the IT employees or customer service staff today!
