A ton of ADRs are now open for Nov-Dec!

I swapped times for two reservations and added two reservations via my phone app. I screenshot the confirmation for each. I sure hope it was not a mistake/issue. That would be disappointing to have lost my 60-day pre-booked ADRs (again - as one of the people who had them all cancelled last June, and last March along with our trip) because these were phantom ADRs and not real openings...

Disney released a statement stating it was a technical issue and there is no increased capacity (added availability). They released a new website redesign that will require you to login to look at dining availability.
where is this statement?

It looks like its back and working again on the site but the mobile app hasnt been updated.

It's on the site that isn't allowed on the DIS
I wondered about the ***** I was seeing. I did figure it out and saw they said Disney made a statement, but still didnt see the actual statement from Disney

Ya I tried looking for the statement directly myself and couldn't find anything, but I would say its a glitch from the new site roll out and sign in requirement for seeing reservation times.

cannot link straight but they are aware of the issue and will work with guests on a case by case basis and are asking all CM to not use the reservation application as they resolve the issue

Nice, did they say they are going to cancel any reservations that were made today?

Thanks for this post. Now have perfect ADRS which are still on my Disney plans. Just made final one!

Saw a report a food related Disney blog that Disney has said they will honor any reservations that you have a confirmation number for.

Now the only question is the refund for the CRT I canceled when I grabbed a different time - I never got the cancelation e-mail, but it doesn't show up in My Plans any more. Trying to let things calm down so phone waits won't be as long... but that is a chunk of money. Still practicing being chill - :rolleyes1

The thing is that Disney hasn't said that yet, only they have, so I assume they are just doing the "it's always been this way" tactic. It will be very dangerous if they honor all of them because that puts them well above their capacity limits, which is why they are working out a situation currently (but haven't come up with a real solution yet). I would take this blogs info with a grain of salt and assume they are just making assumptions until Disney actually says what they are willing to do.

Any capacity limits are self imposed by Disney. There are no longer any Florida mandated restaurant capacity limits.

I would think they will reduce the walk-in slots they have for the times they are overbooked in ADRs by this snafu
