A few years ago, my friend and I wanted to eat at CRT for lunch. So we went to City Hall in MK around mid-morning and asked the CM to make us a PS for lunchtime. Well when she looked in her system, she said there was no availability for two. We looked at each other disconsolately. :( But noooooo, not the end of the story!

She said, "Well, there is availability for 3" *Wink, Wink* Apparently there were plenty of 4-tops available, but no 2-tops. So she booked us a PS for 3 and we were to say that our third had to run at the last minute. When we got there, we were seated at a 4-top and had a great meal!

A tip from her to me to you!

Thanks! That's great news!!! We got a hint from a cm bus driver. We were going to the Animal Kingdom and he got to talking to my hubby and suggested instead of going first thing in the morning to going around 2 or 3 oclock in the afternoon. Sure enough we went then and most people were already tired and hot and were leaving. We had no waits in lines more than 15 minutes. He also told us they do the rides right up to the minute the park 'closes' so if your on a ride a few minutes before quitting time they often let you ride agtain without getting off the rides!

hi, thanks for the tip for crt. was your table for 4 a window table? did you happen to notice if the window tables were tables for 2 or for 4? thanks in advance

husband just said he wants togo to crt for lunch so wonder about window seats for 2 also

and areally dumb question seem to recall from years ago the windows are stained glass, if i remember this right can you see out of them anyway? would be nice to sit there over looking FL though is you can..wish is was our ann. or something i could use for some"pull":)

Here is a question..

If you try the "book a party of 3" trick on something you have to pay for ahead of time, say CP, and then cancel the 3rd, how would it work? I know you have to cancel 48 hours ahead of time, so I wonder if you could cancel the 3rd then and get a refund and not lose your PS? I am asking because when I made my CP PS, the CM kept saying "I have nothing for 2", so I wonder if she had 3.

My table for lunch was not by the window. But on a previous trip, we had eaten there for dinner (just in time for the fireworks show) and we did have a window seat. I believe it was a 4-top. Maybe someone who's been there more recently can describe the set-up better. But I do remember the whole restaurant being pretty small...so the window seats are minimal.

Yes, I do remember the stained glass. And we had to strain a little to see out the "good" window parts. As far as viewing any fireworks, its definitely not the best place to do it, but it was a nice surprise for me since I had no idea it was coming. I would suggest going to the CG or Narcoosees for dinner instead. Or take a Wishes cruise!

Do you get charged per person or per table when you make the PS? If its per table, then just don't tell them you lost your third until you get up there for your PS. The key is that you had planned on three and they couldn't make it last minute (say they got sick). You will get the table regardless, I doubt they will turn you away.

Last trip we originally had 7 people but 3 couldn't go. I had PS at Chef Mickey's and they had nothing at all for 4 that we could change to, so they told me to keep the PS for 7 and just tell them we only had 4 when we got there.

We also had PS for Hollywood and Vine for the Fant package, which does require a credit card, and for that one, we could not just show up with 4, they said we would be charged for the 7, so we had to cancel and make a whole new reservation. Luckily for H&V there were still PS's available for us.
